Zante Sun

Would 100% recommend this hotel. Nice and very clean Hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. I would especially recommend the hotel in the low-season. The food is good and has a good variety. the drinks are good as well. The location is good and close to the harbour for some activities. As I was here in the last days before the hotel closes for the winter there weren't many people and the atmosphere was very good and relaxed. The rooms have a good size and are cleaned daily. The bed is comfortable. The only slightly negative thing was the temperature of the pool. The water was a little too cold.

I’ll start with saying I have read most of the reviews left for this hotel and I must say, some are genuinely laughable… ‘sun doesn’t reach my balcony’ floors to clean we may slip’ we were charged for lobbing Sunbeds in the pool’ the silliness goes on. However there are a couple of bits I would agree on- The negatives- I only have 2, Toilet doors…… no locks and kinda see through.. Hand sanitiser pumps- none are operational. (Likely time of year) Now for the rest. We stayed as a family of 6 in 2024, the facility was eye catching with its outside appearance and totally impressed with the hygiene throughout. The 7 islands restaurant has a very well balanced and plentiful supply of lovely food and all staff we encountered couldn’t have been more helpful. 2026- Were back!! As a family of 4 this time. Glad to say this place hasn’t changed a bit!! Dimitri and Marinos still serving in the bar downstairs- the waitresses all still seem to be here, with a couple of additions and the same GM’s. This Hotel is amazing and super clean, friendly and helpful all round, including the overlooked room cleaners- who I must say, do a fantastic job. Once the staff realised we were return guests, our hotel room was supplied with a thank you note attached to a bottle of wine whilst we were out, On our last night- branded cups were left for us!! It’s nice to be recognised and appreciated at a resort. We are now genuinely trying to find space in our luggage to get the cups home!! Our 2 children (9 and 12) were the only kids at the resort at the time of our stay (last open week of October) and were not troubled by anyone for the noise and splashing they made in the pools. In-fact, if anything, were treated as young adults when talking with the staff. I rarely give 5 stars on a review but Zante sun genuinely deserves it. We are glad the place is as we left it 2 years ago and hope it remains the same for many years and returns to come. Thank you to all the staff- I know Management read the reviews- Thank you. If any suggestion is taken onboard, Smart TV’s- when rooms are refreshed- install a Smart tv so people can connect devices to watch shows in their own language. Keep up the fantastic work guys and girls of Zante Sun Resort- we’ll be seeing you!

We visited Zante Sun Resort again at the end of August this year into September on a 10 night stay with family. We had the best time again, this was the 4th year we have stayed here and would still highly recommend it to anyone. The staff were amazing as they have been every time we have stayed. Very polite and kind, and super helpful when you need anything. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained during our stay, again as it has every time we've stayed there. The food was incredible again with a wide range of choices each night and different options everyday. The only thing that is different to when we have visited previously is the snack bar which is open during the day. The lady who was on it the previous years and would make fresh burgers and chips on request didn't return this season so the choices were more limited. As we had a family member who struggles with different foods it made it difficult for them to get any food from there as it was all pre-made with sauces and salads etc. We did for the first time visit the restaurant at lunch time a few days and was amazed at the amount of choice available midday. It was definitely nice to be able to go up for food and our family were all able to eat and enjoy the meals in the restaurant throughout the day. Having visited previous years later in the season when its generally quieter, it was nice to see it busier and see that it didn't effect the service provided. During busy times in the restaurant and at the pool bar, the staff were still quick and friendly making sure everyone was happy etc. We used both the pool bar and the Sky Fall lounge upstairs where you have to pay for drinks throughout the holiday again. All 3 staff members between the bars were lovely, friendly, polite and when not busy happy to have conversations with us and with our family who was visiting for the first time. Added photos of some of our cocktails from the Sky Fall lounge. We also hired quad bikes through the reception which we would highly recommend over booking them through a separate company. The quad man meets you in reception the morning of your booking, shows you around the quad and how to work it etc, and then you have it the entire day and just hand the key back in to reception when you're done. A lot less stressful and the quad is already at the hotel waiting for you. We both highly recommend staying here, we loved visiting again and are hoping to be able to squeeze in a little trip there next year before our wedding as we just love getting to see the staff and have a stress free break away.

We had a wonderful stay at Zante Sun! Everything was perfect — the hotel was clean, the pool was lovely, the food was delicious and the staff were all friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Vivian for her warm hospitality and kindness. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! ☀️🌴❤️

I stayed here with my 23 year old daughter for a week mid Sept and for us it was just what we hoped for in a relaxing week away with some sunshine . Lets get my minor negative points out the way first as they are few and I’m picky . The plastic cups you are served cocktails in on an evening are horrible . I understand it during the day when by pool for fear of broken glass but please give a decent glass in the evening . Special shout out to Marinos who single handed runs the bar in the evenings and always happy with a smile for us despite working long hours . Invest in new bedding . None of the bottom sheets fit the beds which is really annoying and the duvets are too big for the covers ! Fix the locks on the public toilets none of them lock and finally fill up your hand sanitising units . All the ones by lifts are empty . Those minor points aside I would return to this hotel as the main attraction for us was how peaceful it was . No music , no mad entertainment team trying to drag you up to play water polo just people reading , swimming , listening to their headphones and in the evening people just playing card or board games and talking . Our room was 705 a separate building behind reception with twin beds and the balcony overlooked a nice garden , again so quiet and no neighbouring rooms waking us up . Everywhere is so clean . We chose to use the pool by the Ionian bar which is hard to find as you have to go through a building to get to it but it’s the smallest pool and probably again the quietist . A family of cats with four kittens frequented this area which delighted my daughter . If you go out this back gate it’s a 2 minute walk to the sea with a rocky small path that you can walk to the nearby harbour along . Food at the hotel is excellent . Always lots to choose from and unlike a lot of other all inclusive hotels I’ve stayed in it’s always hot . We did dine twice at a local restaurant opposite hotel called Porto’s which I recommend . Overall a brilliant week away thank you
