The staff & resort are amazing & food & drinks too

What a fabulous holiday! The resort is excellent, very large sprawling gardens and lake style areas, always kept pristine. The resort staff are so kind, always helpful and very friendly, as you’d imagine with the Indonesian people. No problems with anything at all. Reception, room service, concierge, bars, they all treated us very well. The bars and pool areas are great, with super food at every cafe and restaurant. Well worth a visit.

The wonderfully friendly and 'happy to help' staff from the front desk to the beach bistro bar and all the way up to Vineet, the boss and overall generous general manager, were an easy joy to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. The various cultural dining options were definitely a treat, with Gnesh, the Indian restaurant the standout for us. Even for breakfast. Our favourite staff member was young woman called Ari, serving at the beach bistro. Her daily generous smile and 'whatever you want' attitude made our poolside lunches a happy experience every day. The guest rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and air conditioned, which you certainly need in Bali. Having a room with large walk-in shower was a real bonus. The beach wet edged pool was our daily go to. Getting an umbrella'd poolside bed , even with lots of guests at the resort, was never an issue. A great place to holiday for couples and friends. We have definitely been talking this place up with friends back here in Sydney. The week went by way too quickly.

Firstly, the staff are AMAZING. They work so hard. So friendly. You won’t be disappointed with the customer service. HOWEVER…. Accommodation - dated. Needs a spruce up. Beds are comfortable. Upon arrival our cards did not work to enter the room. The staff were very apologetic and rectified as quickly as possible. The hot taps didn’t work initially. Eventually water started flowing but was brown. Obviously this is due to works occurring and is to be expected however the issue persisted until a good amount of water had been flushed through. On our fifth day, the entire resort lost power and water for a number of hours. While this can happen to the best of resorts it was the absence of communication that was frustrating. The 9/10 Expedia rating is surprising. One of the two lifts worked in building two. For those with mobility issues this would have been very challenging. The buildings and rooms are dated and need some TLC. Cleanliness - Gustas did a great job in cleaning the room and making towel arrangements. It is apparent he works very hard. Location - Good. Easy access to Bali Collection shopping and restaurants. Beach - great beach although as is the case in this region, some litter that posed a hazard to marine life. Food - Bfast buffet provided huge variety. Staff - Extremely friendly and hospitable. Check In Experience - A little slow as the team were very busy. Although we did get to access to our room ahead of the designated check in time. Other - we used the laundry service which was well priced. One of my dresses shrunk (can still be worn) but everything else seems ok.
