Grand Mirage Resort Thalasso

The resort is well maintained and the rooms are clean. Staff are friendly. The main pool is small considering the size of the resort. Beach has a lot of seaweed and not very clean, but the sea sports equipment are decent. The amenities and facilities are average, most of the areas in the main wing are old but neat. Hygiene of the place is something I was not happy with - I saw one of the waitresses picking her nose at the breakfast area and the birds around were eating off the serving spoons at the buffet and none of the staff one noticed it. I had to ask for the spoons to be changed. The hotel also allowed a corporate event to take place during my stay, and the crowd was very noisy. It was 11 pm and they were still shouting at the bar just below my room. I thought the management should be more aware and control the event better. So all in all, it is nice resort but not the full all inclusive experience and 4/5 star treatment that you are paying for.

We liked the location. The rooms were great, we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Facilities were really good. However, found the food and drinks to be a big let down. The breakfast was disappointing. It was incredibly hard to get service for food and drinks around any of the pool areas. It was very quiet too so we struggled to understand why. Which made the all inclusive not worth our money at all.

Nice location, service was good, food average served not hot, rooms were musty or mouldy smelling and layout poor, amenities were fine, staff lovely.We left 2 days early sacrificed advanced payment.I feel the report needs an overhaul.

My husband and I had the most enjoyable and memorable experience at The Grand Mirage /Bali. The staff were extremely attentive and especially Sudi from the main restaurant who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing . We shall highly recommend this resort to family and friends and will most likely be back in the near future . My husband and I have travelled extensively and been to many resorts but this resort is by far the best we have ever been too . Anyone reading this be sure to book as you will definitely not regret your stay at The Grand Mirage .

Stayed at Grand Mirage a few times before and liked it. We decided to stay longer this time and just enjoy the hotel. It had gotten better since we last visited in Sept 2025. We asked for the same room and we instantly saw/felt the difference. They had upgraded the TVs to smart TV, fixed the aircon issues (it was so hot the last time we were there), and even upgraded the doors to unlock using your All-inclusive wrist band ! The place was as usual clean, staff were polite and beach/sea view was spectacular (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEPqVGr7f64). We simply loved the lazy river too (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vFxmwOiUpY) ! Only downside was: - the room service food was pretty bad. The mushroom soup was so watery and plain that it tasted like still water. - Lunch at Ibu restaurant (At family paradise) was a time waster. Its no wonder why nobody wants to eat there. The staff were mostly not in sight and we thought it was not servicing. After we managed to find the staff to order our food, it took another ~20 minutes for our food to arrive. We end up wasted ~45 mins before we can start eating our lunch.
