Sol by Melia Benoa Bali - All Inclusive

Despite signs saying smoking in designated areas only or "no smoking or vaping in this area", it's not enforced. In your room, the closed air-conditioned restaurants or a small section of the lobby bar is the only places that no smoking is enforced. You can be eating dinner at a table as part of a garden buffet and have someone smoking at the table beside you. You can be sitting on a pool lounge and the person on the next lounge is smoking. Not enjoyable and a policy that the rest of the world abandoned 20 years ago. On a positive, the hospitality staff are friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and the food was good. The gardens were immaculate.

Friends ask us why we keep coming back to Sol Melia. The reasons are endless. The rooms ?. The food ?The weather ?. It simple. The staff. This was our 4th visit in 5 years and we were treated as if we’d never been away. The attentiveness, professionalism shown by every member of staff was truly amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble and always greeted with a warm Bali smile. Mendrin was as always was amazing ( can you let him know I’m still number 2) Tarzan and Bayu were superb. Gede ran the outside buffet evenings so smoothly and would always come and find us to see if we’d like to reserve a table. Diasa and Annie in the restaurant were faultless and were always there in the morning to greet us. Impeccable and professional at all times. Natalia in the bar was again fantastic and very attentive. It was clear to see that the trainees were being trained by people who were happy to share their knowledge of how to treat people as they were all amazing. Once again Sol Melia thank you for an amazing holiday and making it feel like our second home. See you all next year. Tony and Maz

Our 3rd stay in this wonderful smallish resort. We are always welcomed like family. Rooms are large and beautiful.. with all the inclusions no quality is lost . Pool is fabulous and always so clean. Just love it for true Rest and Renewal. We will continue to go each year and love the staff who are exceptional.

We had an amazing stay at SOL by Meliá Benoa Bali and honestly could not fault the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and looked after throughout our entire stay. A special thank you to Padma at the front desk, who truly made our trip memorable with her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help with anything we needed. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our holiday. Bombom and the whole team around the pool and bar area were also fantastic — always friendly, attentive, and creating such a relaxing atmosphere. The service across the resort was consistently excellent. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Everything was tidy, easy to navigate, and had that perfect Bali holiday feel. The pool areas, gardens, and facilities were always kept in great condition. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali! ⭐

Our time here was just lovely. The staff is incredible. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The pool was large and not crowded and the pool bar was perfect. The beach was also very nice with comfortable chairs. The spa was fantastic. My husband and I had 5 massages! And every massage was better than the previous one. A great value as well! The hotel was clean and well maintained. The food was great. A lot of options and the buffet changed daily. I would definitely recommend the location and the hotel to family and friends.
