Booked and paid for a Superior Room directly with the hotel (confirmed in my reservation confirmation email from them) See photos for difference between a Superior and Standard Room When I pointed out that was given a Standard Room (see photo of room 12A which was what was given) and requested a partial refund for the price differential, I was given the nonsensical reply that the room was a Superior Room - and then did not respond to my follow up emails at all Completely dishonest and misleading establishment!

This hotel has to have the best location to the beach at Sanur but that’s where the positive ends. I booked a superior room with twin beds and ground floor more than 3 months to arrival. I was given a very dark room on the first floor that had no proper beds. The beds were a base and 2 mattress toppers on them. They were so uncomfortable. Asked to be changed to a lighter room with proper beds and ground floor and was told there was nothing available. Moved to another room with the same beds. I advised that I had had a hip replacement and the bed had no comfort. The staff really didn’t care. After another 2 nights on this uncomfortable bed I asked again to be moved to anything with a proper bed. There were rooms on the ground floor with proper beds and they reluctantly moved us to one of these rooms. This room was much better with the beds but so much worse in other ways. The smell coming from the bathroom made me dry wretch and I had to go and buy my own cleaning products to try and make it a bit better. Toilet was awful and didn’t flush sometimes. The inside of the bar fridge was falling off.

Great central location, only a short walk to ICON Mall with plenty of dining options nearby. The pool area was well maintained and never overcrowded. We liked that the property was simple and low-key, rather than a large, busy resort. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options including eggs, bacon, toast, pastries, and Indonesian dishes such as rice and noodles.

My stay was just ok!! Location fantastic! Staff in restaurant fantastic but that where the positives end!! Our room was very old and rundown, two major problems were we didn’t have internet wifi connection for the 6 days we were there!!! I told different staff approximately x6 times and nothing was done and no follow up…. The other major problem was no hot water. Cold showers for x6 days!! Then the lounge hoggers!!! Towels on sun lounges ALL DAY without use!! Just a few problems but enough that we won’t be going back!!

Is there a minus 100 to rate this hotel Worst communication Been waiting 72 days for a refund They double booked us even thought I booked it 6 weeks earlier and decided to tell us this 7pm the night before we were meant to be there!!!!! Won’t give a refund won’t communicate at all Booking.com also can’t get a hold of them Anyone don’t stay here so many better options. Worst hotel experience and I’m still bloody dealing with them when I finally get an email but so far have lost over $800 Aud 72 days ago!
