Wina Holiday Villa

The grounds and pools appear quite pretty, but upon closer look tiles are missing from the tiled pool area, piles of dirt, and everything has multiple coats of peeling paint. Rooms are old and not remodeled. Filthy bathrooms with black mold in shower, actual mud on tile walls in shower, dirty floors, mirrors and glass. Faucet being held up straight by a piece of wood. Beds are like sleeping on plywood. I watched the room cleaners who appear to do nothing but change sheets and towels. No vacuums heard, no mops seen, no smell of cleaning products being used. Wiped the floor with a hand towel and it came away filthy dirty. Our room smells like mildew.

I love this hotel. I visit every year. The staff is always friendly, and the pool is clean. Breakfast is good, too. I recommend it. The hotel gardens are so beautiful, too. It's close to Kuta Beach and the location is great. It's about a five-minute walk to the beachwalk.

Well, for me, that is one of the most exotic hotel in Bali. I stayed for 6 days, first in #142 for 2 days, and then they removed me to #144. They said, a regular guest was coming for the former room. The staffs are commonly friendly. Receptionist, security, waiters and waitress. I enjoyed 3 or 4 nights sharing with a guest from Croatia who currently lives and works in London. Hopefully for my next stay, the equipment at fitness center is fixed up, and dumbbells are levelled up with heavier ones. And, TV channels, I missed Serie A.

Reasonable price & good service. Once reached there can feel Bali vibes then also can chill at the hotel. All staffs are friendly. Location also near shopping mall, restaurant, souvenir shops & beach. Also gently advise it is more convenient if can freshen up your smelly bathroom.

The Wina is still the Kuta Beach go-to for over 30 years
