    Definitely NOT a 5* Hotel. We've stayed at the GF Victoria and that was a 5*, this i would say, would be a 3* at best. Rooms have just been refurbished and are nice, they were cleaned daily and were spacious enough. Pool and outside areas are lovely, good comfy sun loungers too. The thing that lets this place down sadly were the staff, who were rude and some very ignorant, especially in the restaurant! They throw food onto your plates and never seem happy to serve you. Made to feel like you were begging for food! There was one i have to mention by name who was particularly rude her name was Marina, she would be standing on entry each time you enter the restaurant, you are given a silly piece of paper that you must take with you each visit to be checked off , if you didnt have it (which nobody took) she scolded you like a naughty school kid. Food was always cold and not great. Lived on rolls and cheese. Also charging you for water with you meal, but only when they felt like it, no consistency there either. I would not recommend, and will definitely not be returning to this hotel.

    Disappointing Stay – Not the 5-Star Experience I Expected This hotel has left a very bad taste in my mouth. It was my first stay here, and it will definitely be my last. Unfortunately, a number of encounters with staff and what appeared to be inconsistent application of hotel rules completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable holiday. One of my biggest concerns was the apparent double standards shown by some members of staff. The all-inclusive package was a major disappointment. My roommate was unable to travel, meaning her all-inclusive package went unused, yet I was not permitted to allow a family member to make use of it despite it already being paid for. While I understand policies are policies, there was no flexibility whatsoever. The situation became even more frustrating at the bar. On several occasions, I witnessed all-inclusive guests ordering multiple drinks and taking them away from the bar area. However, when I attempted to order a replacement drink because I did not like the one I had received, a waitress named Maria refused, stating "No, that is not possible.'' What made matters worse was that Maria then informed several other staff members about the situation and ensured I would not receive additional drinks without being charged. She also claimed that I did not have a credit card linked to my room, despite nobody ever requesting those details during check-in. After I went to reception and provided my card details, she continued to insist this was the issue before even checking the system. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and left me feeling singled out. What disappointed me most was Maria's attitude throughout the interaction. I found her manner to be unnecessarily forceful, dismissive and, at times, quite cheeky. Rather than listening to a reasonable explanation or attempting to resolve the issue professionally, she appeared more interested in enforcing her interpretation of the rules without any flexibility or consideration for the customer. The way she spoke to me felt confrontational and was not what I would expect from a member of staff working in a 5-star hotel. Sadly, this was not an isolated experience. The restaurant staff came across as unhelpful also. The dining arrangements were also frustrating. At breakfast, guests are expected to book lunch and dinner times in advance. If you later decide to dine after saying you wouldn't, or wish to change your chosen time, it seems to create a problem for the restaurant staff. Holidays should feel flexible and relaxing, not like you're managing appointments. For anyone with dietary requirements, gluten-free options are quite limited, and some meals were not of the standard I would expect from a hotel of this rating. The rooms were another letdown. Having stayed at GF Victoria previously, I found the accommodation here noticeably below the standard I expected. My room (195) had a broken lamp despite the hotel being relatively new, and the balcony overlooking the pool had a solid concrete wall, meaning there was virtually no view while sitting down. The hotel also felt strangely quiet and almost abandoned at night once you left the lobby area. Communication could also be challenging at times, as some staff members appeared to have a limited understanding of English, which occasionally made resolving issues more difficult. I visit Tenerife every year, sometimes twice a year, and have stayed in many hotels across the island. Sadly, this is not one I will ever return to. For a hotel marketed as a 5-star property, the inconsistent service, lack of flexibility, limited gluten-free options, and poor customer experience made this one of the most disappointing stays I have had in Tenerife. Overall, I left feeling frustrated rather than relaxed, and I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. One minor point I'd also like to add highlighting the hotels double standards was that I saw two guests bring a pizza into a public area of the hotel and sit at a table where they were greeted by bar staff and waiters without any issue being raised. However, hotel policy states that outside food should only be consumed in the privacy of your room. If rules exist, they should be applied consistently to everyone.

    After lots of debating which hotels to stay, we weren’t dissatisfied with this Lovely hotel, we stayed here for 1 week as a family of four, in 2 rooms with bed and breakfast. Rooms were clean with plenty storage. The breakfast was really good with lots of choices. The sunbed situation at the pool was a treat turn up at anytime of day to get loungers. We didn’t watch the evening entertainment but did see it was well attended and hear the Abba tribute which sounded really good. The location is in a quiet area, but bus stops for local buses and Siam mall right outside, reception called for taxis they were outside the hotel by time you got to door. A short walk and you were at the beach. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for others.
