Entertainment back to the future absolutely fantastic , had a great night

A wonderful hotel. Fabulous location in Costa Adeje. The hotel is really clean, the food and drinks are plentiful. The food is really nice and lots of different foods available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The animation team are great and lots of activities to do through the day if you choose. Evening entertainment was very good. The pool area is very clean and there are NO sunbed wars in a morning. The rooms are not the biggest but really clean and comfortable, and have everything you need. We will definitely be back

Will start with the good points! - the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, really pleasant! - the hotel was VERY clean, everyone was constantly cleaning something. - the room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable, we sometimes find it difficult to sleep when going abroad but we had no issues at all with getting a decent night's sleep. Unfortunately there's a few more negatives... - we went all inclusive and it felt like a bit of a waste. The food wasn't that good, and the selection was quite repetitive, there wasn't any theme nights as far as I'm aware. Nothing was particularly flavourful, I don't expect all inclusive food to be outstanding but nothing was that nice. - we arrived on Sunday and in the early hours of Tuesday morning I got food poisoning and spent the entirety of Tuesday in bed or in the bathroom. I'm certain that I got it from the seafood paella because I'd never eaten shrimp before and didn't know until afterwards that shrimp isn't supposed to taste fishy. I contacted the hotel email address on the website about this, only because I couldn't physically move from the room, and they responded to say they'd forwarded this on to the reception staff and that I'd get a response as soon as possible. That was Tuesday and as of writing this review, I've just received an email from them (Saturday evening) with apologies and letting me know that they follow high standards of food hygiene and that no one else was sick. But it still created a huge level of anxiety for me around eating basically anything for the rest of the trip. My partner didn't get food poisoning because he didn't eat the paella, but still had some stomach issues throughout the trip. I know that we can't prove that we got it from the hotel but we didnt eat anywhere else for the first few days. Additionally, the things at the buffet weren't labelled very well, there wasn't always details on the signs to say what things were or what flavours they were which didn't help with my anxiety. - during my bout of food poisoning, I asked my partner if he could ask reception for a napkin or cloth so that we could dampen it with cold water and use it on my head, reception told him to ask the restaurant and he did, and they said no even when he tried to explain that I was unwell and didn't offer any alternatives. It was just a cloth? - I was quite disappointed by the ice cream provided at the snack bar. Again, if I'd known better I wouldn't have gone all inclusive if I knew it would just be primary school pots of ice cream. It was also a bit confusing as there's signs about their green/sustainable initiatives, surely cones or lollies would be a greener alternative to plastic pots of ice cream? - the information page on the hotel website said that there were construction works going on that would be complete by July 19, the "app" said July 12, but the work was still ongoing when we visited over a week after these dates. We couldn't hear it from our room but it wasn't very nice trying to sit and relax by the pool and hearing drilling and hammering. - a minor inconvenience but the usb ports of the TV in the room are blocked off, we usually bring a Chromecast when going abroad so we can cast our devices and watch what we want but this wasn't possible. There is was a good selection of channels in English, french, Spanish, and German but the TV was a bit intermittent and would crash and need to be turned on and off again. Generally, I'm quite disappointed because this place has such good reviews and there were elements that were nice or that we wanted to try (like the spa but didn't get chance because of food poisoning putting a spanner in our plans). It was our first time going to Tenerife and it left us with a bad taste in our mouths and I don't think we'll be returning, to the hotel or the island.

Lovely hotel and great location. However if your a younger couple looking for nightlife central you’d be better off getting a hotel in Las Americanas near the strip. The food is lovely with lots of variation, the entertainment staff are great and the pool area is fab. Only thing I disliked about the hotel was that our bed was on wheels and kept on rolling so it made it impossible for me and my partner to cuddle together we’d have to fit on one single bed. Really enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Staying in room 432. Great holiday, hotel and entertainment staff are amazing. Great location.
