Hotel La Perla

Just returned from a fantastic 11 night stay at La Perla, the hotel is approximately 40 yards from Garda bus station where the coach drops you off, we arrived at lunchtime and our room wasn’t ready, this is due to the early flights from the UK, allows little time for turn around, but not a problem, there is a lower floor for storage of your cases, a bar area to sit, a pool bar with loungers and shaded seats, or you can wonder down to Lake Garda itself which is a two minute walk, past the bus station, through the underpass (yes it’s safe) straight ahead for the lake, turn right for the old town. Hotel rooms are small but well designed, big wardrobe, kettle, fridge, and free safe, in the bathroom is a shower which is a bit small but ok, rooms are kept really clean and staff are very friendly, reception staff are extremely helpful and speak excellent English. Evening meal in the main restaurant, you are allocated a table and that is your table for the duration of your stay, the waiter asks your preference for drinks, wine, water, soft drink and serves that at the table, there is a good selection of food which is a buffet, but there are live cooking stations for your main, three choices plus a vegetarian plus a live pasta station, multiple choices for starter and sweet. At this point I must thank Massimo who looked after us during our stay, nothing was too much trouble, made our meal times feel special. At breakfast you can use any table, good buffet selection again, hot and cold food, plus a chef making omelettes, fried eggs and pancakes, a selection of fruit juices, and thankfully the orange juice is good quality, not squash as is often the case. In the evening there is a bar area, where you can pay or charge to the room, there is entertainment a few times a week, this is either in the bar or outside weather permitting. During the day at the pool area, which you can access with your room card through a tunnel that runs under the road, food and drinks are available, and pool towels are in your room on arrival in a nice bag. I highly recommend La Perla, great hotel in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from all the great things Garda has to offer, would definitely return.

An excellent modern hotel, with extremely friendly staff all round. Fantastic food at every meal. A superb pool and pool bar area. Stunningly clean throughout, I highly recommend Hotel LaPerla to everyone Geoff and Sandra Bridges

Very nice hotel in a great location. Very well positioned for getting around the lake. Hotel was very clean, rooms were good even if a bit on the small side, with a good powerful shower. Pool was nice although the weather meant we only went there once during our week. Wine beer and soft drinks included with the meal was excellent. Help with a gluten free diet was also good.

Friendly and helpful the reception staff and the restaurant staff especially to kabir Sami he is attended what we need on the table. We have a good stay , room clean everyday. Thank you so much. . Highly recommend.

Had stayed here twice before when restaurant was al a carte, but now buffet style, plenty of choice but the nightly show cooking meat was pork on 4 days in the week, needs more variety for meat. Other items were often not hot enough. Was difficult at times to get someone to serve you a drink in evening or coffee at breakfast. Swimming pool area was lovely. Rooms comfortable enough with view of the pool.
