Hotel La Perla

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel La Perla. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and most of the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, particularly the reception team. A special mention has to go to our waiter, Massimo, who was absolutely spot on throughout our stay. He was warm, attentive and very personable, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. He really helped make our experience that little bit more special. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return to Hotel La Perla.

This is our second visit to this lovely hotel, we were a bit wary when we realised that the meals were now all buffet style but there was no to need to worry, all meals were well cooked, there was plenty of variety and menu changed for main meal daily. There was a carafe of wine each with each meal which was very welcome. All Staff in the restaurant were always helpful and friendly, special mention to Stefano, Paeblo, Eli and Linda, whose big smiles were very welcoming. Rooms are small but with everything you might need. Reception staff welcoming and there was some evening entertainment. Excellent sized swimming pool, and plenty of beds. The hotel is ideally situated for town centre, bus station and ferry port, very good for guests with slightly limited mobility, easy walking distance. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic hotel would definitely recommend it to anyone. Rooms are excellent and the dining experience is worth every penny.

The hotel is in a great location being very close to the lake and bus station. Spotlessly clean throughout with a large dining area and lounge. Our room and bathroom were very small you could hardly turn around in the shower; however there was plenty of hot water and it was very clean, and very quiet, so all in all the room was adequate. The food was excellent with plenty of choice at breakfast and a buffet evening meal. We had a great waiter called Massimo who catered for us throughout our ten days giving us superb helpful and friendly service. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. There was occasional entertainment which created a nice atmosphere and on Thursdays there was fantastic young female singer who never stopped singing and people were dancing. The pool area was very good accessed via an underground tunnel; and there is a small snack bar by the pool and large adjacent gardens that has plenty of sun loungers. On a negative, there should be more bar staff serving drinks in the lounge at most I only counted three and these were split between the outside terrace and the lounge. We would have bought more drinks if the service was improved. Also, buying a coffee or snacks in the lounge was not possible during the day due to lack of staff. Overall an excellent hotel for the price, we would return.

Wonderful experience - stayed half board and paid the additional 10Euros per night to upgrade to a pool view (worth it). The rooms are clean and tidy although a little on the small side, but we spent most of our time on the balcony so it didn't bother us. The pool has a beutiful view, is large enough for a good swim with plenty of sunbeds and chairs available. There is a poolbar for drinks and snacks open during the day. The hotel is in a great location, 2 mins walk from the bus station and a 5 mins walk from Garda centre. The restuarant serves a wide variety of food for breakfast and dinner with wine included at dinner. But what made our stay was the fantastic staff - they were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. We will definitly be returing to this hotel next time we visit Garda.
