Hotel Andreaneri

We booked this hotel as we thought it looked nice from the pictures. It's a family run hotel (properly family run). Staff were very friendly and helpful Some things to be aware of 1. They don't provide kettles in the room ,you have to ask for hot water from the bar. 2 you are charged for water in the dining room . 3. You are charged for coffee at breakfast. ( never had this before anywhere) 4. Pick your room , high floor sea views to the front or personally rear rooms spectacular mountain vistas. 5.Air conditioning is turned off in rooms 10.00 am to 12.00 noon ish 6. They don't like you bringing in food or drink from outside into your room. Other things Hotel is situated well for public transport Busses E26 just at the bottom of the street into pietrasanta takes about 15min and costs about £1.50 You need a debit card for each person who travels You can walk into pietrasanta but it's a good hour fourty five Trains are readily available we used train line app to book tickets in advance. Try to avoid taxis it was 30 euro for a 10 minute journey. My wife was unfortunately ill so we sought advise from the pharmacist They recommend a doctor They called him and arranged an appointment The doctor completely mis diagnosed her symptoms and would only take cash. There is a word for this !! Aperol spritz seems to the drink of choice it's everywhere it ranges from 5 euro to 10 euro pick your bar wisely A medium beer is 7 euro. Beach is readily accessible but be prepared to pay for parasols and chairs . Summary if you have read all the way down Nice hotel, some quirks freindly attentive staff, good location Relatively good value But note the above.

Attractive hotel and garden. Our bedroom was quite small balcony had not much of an outlook. Breakfast was ok 7 minute boiled eggs were like rubber! Dinner… well it was a bit hit and miss . Never quite sure what you were going to get menu got lost in translation we think. Lucrezzia was a marvellous waitress. We had a lovely time its position and access to public transport was good. Their associated beach which was supposed to be 25O metres away we couldn’t find! It wasn’t free and apparently no discount offered to the hotel guests. A musician or something might be nice a couple of nights it was a bit flat after dinner.

Returned from this hotel this week. Excellent hotel with lovely service, decor, staff, cleanliness and great food. Genuinely recommend it. Location is very good too.

This was my first visit to Italy and of course Tuscany, my partner has already been to Milan and Rome. The hotel is excellent, beautiful location, quiet and very relaxing. Our room was comfortable but a bit dull and dark, due to its location in the building, we sadly did not manage to get a balcony, the room was very clean as was the hotel in general. The staff are excellent, great service throughout, from the reception, restaurant and the bar. The food / menu was varied each day giving you the opportunity to enjoy local dishes.

An excellent hotel in a wonderful place. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel asking for a room with a nice view as it would be a nice surprise for my husband's birthday. This they did. We had a lovely room on the 4th (top) floor. Large room with views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Our balcony was enormous and we spent every evening on there watching the sun go down. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. They listened to all our our questions and helped us with everything that we asked for. They got to know us, which room we were in and what we liked to drink! The food was fabulous. Breakfast was a nice continental affair, food was regularly topped up and the waitresses brought you coffee. During breakfast, you chose what meals you wanted for the evening. That food was excellent. Always a salad starter from the buffet, a first course and then a main. Even a choice of 3 different desserts every night. The food was beautifully presented, tasted great and allowed you to try some different things. Some selections were unusual but fab! We hired the hotel bikes whilst there, and we're allowed to keep them for as long as we wanted and at a good price. A bike is a lovely way to see the area on the very safe and easy to use cycle path. I cannot fault this gem of a hotel and it's amazing staff.
