This is the finest of all small hotels where we ever stayed, and we have stayed in every major city in Europe. Happened upon it when the hotel where we were supposed to stay was under construction. Met Veronica, whose family has owned the hotel for at least one generation. They immediately accommodated us, and, as it was available, got an upgraded room for the base rate. The breakfast was a full English breakfast and was sumptuous. The room, indeed, the hotel was recently upgraded. Walking distance to St. Mark’s Square. FANTASTICO! Did not find it through Trip Advisor but want my colleague members know about this little jewel box.

So we went to Venice 5-9 November, the hotel is in perfect location 5 minutes from all the big things you have to see in Venice such as Palaco Ducale, Saint Marcos Square and Basilika. The hotel room was a beauty. Big and cozy. The breakfast was small but very good. The waitress, the receptionists and the cute Housekeeping lady, everyone was so friendly and accomondating. Small errors on the ceeling of the corridors and some holes but thats small.

This is a perfect 'small' Hotel, in a great location. Despite being only a short walk to the very busy San Zaccaria and Piazza San Marco, it is incredibly quiet. My room, 209, was small, but perfectly acceptable, with a big, very comfortable bed. The bathroom, was clean and well looked after every day. The staff, all of them, super friendly and efficient. Breakfasts were great, big, fresh, varied, everything was just right. I can't imagine staying anywhere else as a solo traveller. NO criticisms, but observations.....USB connectors in the wall sockets and maybe a USB / Airplay speaker system for my own music would both be beneficial. Thank You of a great few days.
