Neptune Village Beach Resort & Spa

Advantages: nice Diani beach with nice walk place in the sea when tide goes down, beautiful surroundings, authentic buildings, lots of palm trees right in front of the sea, good food. Disadvantages: annoying beach boys, lots of them allways by the shore, you cannot freely walk to the sea and not be asked minimum two three times "how are you", "where are you from" and etc. We asked quiet room, but got with doors connecting to other room, so no privacy at all. They don't have mosquito net in the room. Low quality evening shows.

We arrived after 7 amazing nights on safari ready to relax for 5 nights at the beach. Check in took a while and we weren't offered a drink. Once shown to our room we were happy with it and settled in. Amenties are quite basic and towels well worn but everything was clean. We headed to the bar and asked for a pina colada - we don't do them, a mojito - no mint so we just got 2 beers! The drinks were fine from then on, unbranded but the spirit based drinks, wine and beer were fine but not outstanding. We ate in both buffet restaurants and the choice and variety was great at all meals, the Indian selection was probably always our favourite. We only ate at the Indian speciality restaurant but enjoyed our first night so much we booked it again. It actually felt like going out for a meal versus the buffet restaurant and the staff there were wonderful. The beach is visually stunning and the Indian Ocean so warm but there is no sunbathing on the beach and once you step on to the beach expect to have company. The sellers were perfectly polite and happy just to chat but quite persistent. If you see Solomon, let him make some personalised bracelets for you - he was the loveliest soul and showed us he was raising funds to pay his daughter's school fees. We didn't hang around for the entertainment but the monkeys were very entertaining. Just be wary of them - they really are smart and will raid your bags and drink your drinks if you're not careful. All in all, it was a nice relax after our safari but a bit too 'package holiday' after being somewhere a bit more real.

We visited Neptune Village with my family from 2/3–2/7, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed — the staff are incredibly warm, well-trained, and truly understand the meaning of hospitality. The property is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and very family-friendly. Everything runs smoothly, and you can tell there is great attention to detail in every area of the resort. The service was consistently excellent, with staff always ready to help and doing so with a smile. The food was excellent — fresh, tasty, and well prepared. If there was anything you needed that wasn’t on the menu, the chef was always ready to quickly prepare it without hesitation, which made our stay even more special. On days when my mom and dad were too tired to walk to the dining area, the team kindly arranged complimentary room service, which we truly appreciated. Joy from Guest Relations was exceptional and made sure we had a very comfortable stay. Our main goal was simply to unwind and relax, and Neptune Village delivered exactly that — a peaceful, stress-free environment that allowed us to truly switch off and enjoy quality family time. If you’re planning a vacation on the South Coast, Neptune Village is the best choice. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we left with amazing memories. We arrived at Neptune Beach Resort after a 5 night Safari The check in was breeze, we were given a cold towel and cold drink asked to sit down , our passorts were taken to the reception ,given back to us and two loely guys took our cases th our "cottage" which was spacious, very clean with a lovely verandah . We were only a short walk to the Pool and an even shorter walk to the restaurant and the beach. Food was plentiful at breakfast lunch and dinner, there were 3 other restaurants that you needed to book for during your stay offering Italian, Meditterainian , and Pan Asian. The Beach was lovely and clean and the water was so warm , the Hotel offered a "Beach Walk" every morning showing the sea creatures ,starfish , angel fish and lots more . The entertainment was poor , they had 2 professional acts on during the Week we were there, the Hotel entertainment team were ok during the day organising the games like water polo etc but the evening entertainment was dire, them dancing or karaoke. Loved our time here, beautiful Hotel ,lovely staff. Asante Sana
