Severin Sea Lodge

I arrived at Severin Sea Lodge with the rain, and somehow, it felt like a blessing. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed, and the four nights that followed offered plenty of quiet moments to simply exhale. The service struck a lovely balance: attentive and thoughtful without ever feeling in-your-face. Check-in and check-out were smooth and professionally handled, and the grounds were beautifully maintained: lush, clean, and wonderfully peaceful. Mosquito control was also well considered, and the Cinnabar toiletries were a particularly nice touch. I stayed on half-board, and the food was genuinely wonderful. Breakfast was somewhat repetitive, but wholesome and satisfying; the 4pm tea was a delightful little pick-me-up; and dinner was consistently wholesome. Evening entertainment was cozy and understated rather than over-the-top, which suited the atmosphere beautifully. The pools were wonderfully chilled-out, with plenty of towels and readily available drinking water: exactly the kind of small conveniences that make a restorative stay feel effortless. Cleanliness was generally good, although there is room for a little more attention to detail in some areas like room service. The one experience that fell noticeably short was the spa. I had expected something more aligned with the overall sense of care at the lodge, but the treatment itself was disappointing, compounded by an attendant who came across as dismissive. Overall, Severin Sea Lodge gave me what I came for: space to slow down, breathe, eat well, and be gently looked after. It is the kind of coastal stay where the luxury is less about spectacle and more about having the room, and the rhythm, to exhale.

We were searching for a venue to have our wedding and were so pleased to find Severin. The staff were so helpful especially Joyce Odanga. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Everything we asked for we got. The food was amazing. It made our day very special. Thank you everyone.

We, as a family of four, enjoyed a beautiful stay at Severin Sea Lodge. We liked the super friendly service, the food and drinks, and the awesome location and decorations. A perfect four days stay as our Safari Kickoff. The rooms were perfectly prepared, a nice fit.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. A special thank you to Erick from housekeeping for keeping everything spotless and making my stay so comfortable. I also want to recognize Caroline and Tyla for their excellent service. They were friendly, attentive, and always made me feel welcome. Their professionalism and warm hospitality truly made my experience memorable. Last but not least, a big thank you to Moris for his warm welcome at the reception. I must add that everyone did an excellent job throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel also for the food and the view and definitely look forward to staying here again.

The group of 15 from America had nothing but positive comments about their stay at Severin. They thought the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food Charles prepared every evening in the dining room was yummy. All are keen to return on another of our organised trips. If they are happy then I am happy too!
