Meeru Maldives Resort Island

My partner and I stayed in Meeru for 6 nights recently. That was our 4th time staying in The Meeru and we had a wonderful time. Meeru is really a value for money resort in the Maldives and they have every room type and meal packages for every kind of budget. The service staff, from check-in to restaurant to housekeeper, were all professional, friendly and accommodating. The Ocean Villas were recently renovated so everything was fresh and working. Sunset from our deck were amazing. The upkeep of the resort was excellent and everything runs like a well-oiled machine. Definitely will be going back again sometime in the near future.

We travelled to Meeru after a change to our plans in March due to the Iran war . I was unsure how it would compare to our original plans but i was pleasantly surprised . The boat trip was efficient and quick . We were allocated our room straight away at 0900 . The first room we were allocated was not to our liking so they changed our room to be on the beach Room 242 . We had the all inclusive package which is the way to go . Food was excellent in the buffet and all of the à la carte restaurants. The chefs came to visit our table to ensure the food was to our liking at most sittings. The service staff were outstanding- a big shout out to the lovely Risma who is usually in the reef restaurant her customer service was outstanding and she always came out of her way to speak. The hotel does a snorkelling trip twice daily which is a great experience to see the wonders of the sea. The sunset cruise was also a lovely trip where we saw a pod of dolphins with a glass of punch . Beach is beautiful white sand and crystal blue water. There is a pleasant breeze on one side of the island. There was some renovations whilst we were there but it didn’t bother us . The resort manager Josef is visible at times around the resort and always happy to stop and talk . Meeru beer all my expectations and more . Just relax , unwind and enjoy

Location is perfect. Boat ride is safe and comfortable. Ambience is amazing. Sunsets r perfect from this island. It's massive property. Rooms r comfortable. Housekeeping is too good. They clean the room almost 2/3 times in a day. Cleanliness is amazing even after so much of greenery around no mosquito at all. Food was good. Swimming pool was very clean. Must visit place if Ur going to Maldives.

Another perfect visit to Meeru. This place is heaven on earth. The spa is very good and we visited twice during our 2 weeks stay. We had a fishing excursion which was my first experience and could not believe the results. We ate fresh fish for dinner that day. The wee gold course is fun. It is more pitch and putt and not easy but such a good laugh. Food and drinks were very good. A la Carte restaurants are very good also.
