Another perfect visit to Meeru. This place is heaven on earth. The spa is very good and we visited twice during our 2 weeks stay. We had a fishing excursion which was my first experience and could not believe the results. We ate fresh fish for dinner that day. The wee gold course is fun. It is more pitch and putt and not easy but such a good laugh. Food and drinks were very good. A la Carte restaurants are very good also.

We booked this trip as a milestone to celebrate my mother, who had just completed chemotherapy cancer treatment and has a disability. While the frontline staff were nice, the management and corporate operations let the whole of Crown & Champa down. 1. False Accessibility/Unsafe Room Allocation Prior to booking, we explicitly informed the resort that my mother has limited mobility and we were assured buggy transport would be available. What they failed to disclose is that buggies cannot access the Water Villa pier. Knowing she had mobility issues, management still allocated us a villa at the furthest end of the jetty. Asking a guest with known mobility limits to walk the maximum possible distance in the heat, with no emergency transport option, is a serious failure in basic logistics and shows little regard for accessible and safe tourism. It also leaves me concerned about their safety procedures and risk assessments across the resort more broadly. 2. Black Mold & The "Fruit Plate" Resolution We paid for one night of our trip to be in a premium Water Villa. Upon arrival, the sunbeds were visibly soiled and notably the curtains were covered in black residue/fungal growth. Because my mother is recovering from chemotherapy, this was a serious health hazard, as it would be to anyone. We were unable to move rooms because my mother was too physically exhausted from the walk to pack up and go again. We emailed management about this, and the Resort Manager met with us, admitting they were aware of these humidity-related failures and were waiting on new curtains. So Meeru knowingly placed us into a room with a known mold issue. The compensation offered for putting us in a hazardous room on a multi-thousand-pound trip was a small plate of fruit. That doesn't come close to addressing a health hazard and ruined experience, regardless of the amount spent. Even if they have now replaced the curtains, which I genuinely hope they have, this incident says a lot about how little priority was given to a safe and luxury experience. If this is the level of negligence they're comfortable letting guests see in a premium villa, it leaves me uneasy about the standards in areas guests don't see, like laundry and food preparation, whatever their response to this review. 3. Zero Accountability I waited a few months to post this review because I wanted to give Crown & Champa Resorts the chance to act with integrity. I followed up with senior management in January, and again in April, both times with full photographic evidence, hoping they'd meaningfully rectify this and apologise. We heard nothing back either time. I'm left genuinely disappointed that I couldn't give my mother the milestone post-chemotherapy trip she deserved, because of the resort's negligence. I mention this because if management replies below asking me to email them to "discuss this further," future guests should know that I already have tried to resolve this, and advocate for disability awareness privately, several times. I was met with silence. If management does reply publicly to this review, I'd ask that you go beyond a standard apology and instead confirm the following.: 1. That all mold-affected curtains across the Water Villas have been fully replaced. 2. That the relevant staff have completed, not just started, re-training on disability awareness and risk-assessing guest pathways. 3. That your complaints process has been changed so no one is left waiting half a year for a response. Thank you.

do not book this resort through emirates holidays as they lie that the construction work they knew about in Feb and only told us in may 5 weeks before our holiday will not disturb the holiday and this is confirms in an emails which they ignored our request to cancel after we were told that there is no adult buffet no adult beach that we booked and paid for, the construction is really noisy and starts from 8:00am until 6:00pm seven days a week and the island near the adult ocean water villas looks as if there has been a war or bomb dropped on the island . there is also internal renovations being carried out on the ocean water villas (700 series ) same noise and same time 8:00 am till 6:00pm that we was not told about. So although I have no complaint with Meeru I do with Emirates holidays who ignored our request to cancel if i could attach videos i would which i have taken as proof of the noise . I have no issue with the resort but I do with Emirates holidays who lied to us and responded to whether we could cancel
