We had an absolutely amazing time! The island is located about 70 to 90 minutes from Male by fast boat, and it is truly a little paradise. The water is crystal clear, and the island itself is clean and beautiful, filled with palm trees and all kinds of lush greenery that makes you feel like you are in a small jungle. There is a wonderful sense of peace and quiet across the entire island. ​For our honeymoon, we chose a deluxe water villa. Apart from being absolutely beautiful, it offered endless view of the ocean during the day and incredible tranquility at night under a gorgeous dark sky. It also provided the perfect privacy that any couple would wish for. ​The resort offers so many great amenities and activities. There is a tennis court, a playground with pools for kids, a gym, a spa, pools scattered in different areas, and several bars equipped with various games. What we loved the most, though, was the snorkelling excursion. They take you to a reef near the neighboring island, and it honestly feels like discovering an underground paradise. Overall, it felt like a fantastic value for money choice for our honeymoon, especially with the All-Inclusive package which included absolutely everything we wanted. ​The staff was outstanding and incredibly friendly. Everyone was always smiling and super helpful—honestly, they provided everything you could possibly need before you even had to think about! A charming vibe is everywhere in the island. Without wanting to treat anyone unfairly, IQBAL made a truly special impression on us. We met him on our first day, and he was the one who made our honeymoon even more pleasant with his wonderful services, great positive energy, and constant smile. ​We will definitely be returning to this magical island. A huge thank you to the team, and especially Iqbal, for making our honeymoon so special!

A family holiday, first time in the Maldives with two older teens- it was perfect. We stayed in a two bed beach villa which was directly on the beach with our own loungers. House was spacious and well appointed. Housekeeping were excellent. We stayed on the reef side and had direct access to the amazing marine life. Black tip sharks and stingray swam past our toes on numerous occasions. We were located closest to the current building work (next to the vacant water villas) and never felt disturbed by the works. The team have been very fearful to conceal all sights and sounds where possible. The reef is excellent, we swam with sharks , stingray, eagle ray and a whole host of green turtles straight from the beach. We did manta and nurse shark excursions and these were amazing. The diving was excellent too- even just on the house reef! Two special notes of thanks need to be made; As a coeliac traveller, we chose the basic all inclusive for consistent dining. Our buffet was farivalhu and led by Chef Sumindi. Chef and his team were fantastic, each meal was well catered and explained each sitting. He often provided my teen with GF pasta, garlic bread and pizza, and always a beautifully presented double dessert. His attention and care was incredible. Thank you!! The second note of thanks is for Tom the sustainability manager and resident marine biologist. Tom led our maya ray excursion and was a trip that was. He also led a wonderful initiative that allowed communication with guests around the current Green Turtle laying and nests. Calling anyone who requested to take part when the time came to watch nature happening. It was once in a lifetime and magical. Thank you for that effort. Tom also leads an incredible coral gardening project- muraka project. The island is passionate about preserving the reef against past and incoming coral bleaching and to essentially adopt a part of the reef, build a living frame, take it out by boat to secure and photograph it whilst learning and seeing the growth and life in other frames was amazing. A part of us will now remain in this magical place. We can’t wait for our updates!! I’d recommend anyone staying at Kuramathi to take part in this project, it’s the gift that keeps on giving and the cost of taking part is a donation to keep the amazing work up. Do it!! In short, location great, weather was great, marine life is in abundance, excursions great, water sports were great, staff and service great (including the very welcoming manager Per). Food was great. The only request I would make is more buggies during the day…but even that was fine. Thank you Kuramathi!

Kuramathi Maldives was one of the best and most memorable places i have ever visited. Kumar, the buggy driver, was so friendly.

The beach villa and delexue water pool villa was amazing . And the hospitality was amazing in Kuramathi . Recommended for private island stay .
