Niva Kuramathi Maldives

Wow wow wow. This holiday was honestly the most special holiday we’ve ever had. Kuramathi is an amazing resort - the scenery, wildlife, food and team there are all outstanding. We stayed in the thundi over water villa for 2 weeks and we did the all inclusive select (think it’s called dine around now). The villa was beautiful, and the reef off the villa was amazing. We loved looking out for the fish every morning and evening and ever night we went for a swim in the pool when we got back from dinner - it was so private and calm. The food on the all inclusive select was beautiful - highly recommend doing this package over the buffet style if you can as every meal was unreal. Our favourite was island bbq and we also loved the reef and kobi, but honestly we loved all of them. 2 important things to note that we were really worried about before we travelled that I hope puts someone’s mind at ease… 1. The building works - we were notified about this from our travel agent and obviously were concerned but honestly we didn’t even notice. The way the resort has covered were up the work area means you honestly don’t really even notice it happening. We also did the free snorkelling trip twice and both times were incredible, so they more than make up for the part of the reef being off limits. Honestly if this is worrying you, don’t let it. They’ve managed it really amazingly! 2. This one is more personal but me and my partner are a same sex couple (female) and we were nervous due to local culture and attitudes but honestly, we were treated exactly the same as everyone else on the island. All the team we spoke to and interacted with were brilliant but special mentions to Adam at the excursions centre who was so fun and was amazing on the dolphin tour, shibu who drove one of the buggies and was always so welcoming and friendly, and marvella, herlin and Shaina all from laguna bar who were just so lovely and looked after us amazingly! We honestly can’t wait to return as soon as possible!! Thank you all so much

A truly perfect stay experience. The scenery is beautiful, the room is comfortable and clean. What's most important is that the hotel staff provided very thoughtful and considerate service. Everyone here is very friendly. Shareef offered us a lot of help and always kept a smile on his face.

From the moment we arrived we have heen treated with the upmost respect and 100% service from all the staff. Especially our room keeper Thoriq who has been always accommodating to our needs. Also Ali who has been the mam that keeps our back pool area clean and letting us experience the coconuts of the Maldives. Both extremely humble men and are a credit to this island.

We stayed end of April in a Thundi Villa. The island has a great selection of Bars and Restaurants on Select All Inclusive. All staff were lovely but Per especially looked after us very well. Everything was perfect. Thank you!
