5/5 Amazing service. I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Islam at the Athiri Beach Bar during our stay at Kurumba Maldives, and he truly elevated our entire experience. From the moment we sat down on the soft sand with the turquoise lagoon in front of us, Islam’s warm smile and professional energy made us feel right at home. His service was amazing attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and always going the extra mile. He remembered our preferences after the first visit and surprised us with perfect recommendations each evening. Whether it was a perfectly balanced classic Mojito, a refreshing tropical mocktail to beat the heat, or something more adventurous with fresh local ingredients like mango, passionfruit, and coconut, every drink was crafted with care and creativity. What really stood out was how multilingual Islam is he speaks 5 languages fluently! This made communication effortless and added such a personal touch, especially for our international group. He chatted comfortably in English, Turkish, and others, sharing fun stories about the islands that made our sunsets at the bar even more memorable. The atmosphere at Athiri is already paradise (think chilled music, gentle waves, and stunning views), but Islam’s exceptional service turned it into something truly special. If you’re visiting Kurumba, do yourself a favor and head straight to Athiri Beach Bar ask for Islam. You’ll leave with not just great cocktails, but wonderful memories. Fabulous visit, 5 days in low season but perfect weather most of the time. Impeccable service, superb food. Highly recommend the Dine around plan which includes daily water sports activities, an excursion, and discounts on the spa - as well as several excellent à la carte restaurants to try. We got to know so many of the lovely staff including Islam at the bar and also the amazing water sports team under Mady. Nothing too much trouble and incredibly friendly. We chatted with the general manager every single day - such a lovely guy! Only 10 minutes from the airport but the aircraft didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommended but probably not in high season as the accommodation was quite packed in - we were lucky there were very few people here. Would definitely come back again ❤️

Beautiful island, beautiful beaches, amazing staff who were caring and helpful throughout , in particular Mady and Islom. Restaurants were superb as was the kayaking each morning with the baby sharks. Would definitely recommend it.
