Niva Kurumba Maldives

Absolutely amazing holiday celebrating my 60th Birthday. This is our 5th visit to Kurumba over the last 10 years and the island and fabulous staff never fail to impress us. We have nothing but great things to say. The food drinks cleanliness are all second to none. We’ve made some special friends here also. Absolutely love Islom the barman at Athiri who is so professional and friendly with all the guests along with his lovely sister who works on reception too. He is such a lovely young man. There are so many other members of staff to name also who made our holiday extra special. Amaan and April in the cafe restaurant. Amil our lovely friend at Zandu bar who we met here 10 years ago. We also had the pleasure of Pedro the head chef’s company too. Great guy and fabulous chef. So many great staff members to mention.

Islom was just the best beach bar waiter he brought us drinks no hesitation.. nothing was too much trouble always had a smile and made us laugh .. very polite 10 + we really look forward to be able to come back again … From room 134

The moment to step off the boat the waters are so blue, sand is silky. Coconut palms. Lots of food choice with many restaurant cuisines. Top breakfast with real coffee. Snorkelling sensational, spent endless hours in the water. Rooms are perfect. Live music in the evening

What an amazing beautiful island. Staff were exceptional especially a lovely young man named Afhan who worked in the Indian restaurant. So helpful and well mannered, couldn’t do enough to help us. Whenever he saw us he would come over and ask how we were. The food was presented like being in a Michelin star restaurant. Would happily return.
