Niva Kurumba Maldives

I had some exceptional dives with these guys, getting Manta Ray, Green Turtle, 3 species of shark, stingray and a plethora of other smaller fish. Excellent team and a great dive experience!

We spent the last two days of our Maldives vacation at Niva Kurumba, and it was the perfect way to end our trip! Even before we arrived, the team impressed us with their excellent communication. They promptly replied to every email, answered all our questions, and made us feel genuinely cared for. I had mentioned that it was my husband's birthday, and they went above and beyond by arranging a beautiful bed decoration, a delicious birthday cake, and even upgrading our room. It made the celebration incredibly special. From the moment we stepped onto the speedboat, we were warmly welcomed. A special thank you to **Nabeel**, who greeted us with cool towels and bottled water and made us feel at home from the very beginning. Check-in was seamless, thanks to the Assistant Manager, **Naafiyu**, who regularly checked in to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay. **Mayiz** also took the time to introduce us to the property and was always helpful whenever we needed assistance. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was delicious, and a special mention goes to the chefs, **Nafat** and **Anshik**, who prepared the fluffiest cheese omelette and the most indulgent Nutella crepe I've ever had! We also had a lovely photography session with **Fathima**, who kindly gifted us a complimentary printed photograph—a thoughtful keepsake that we will treasure for years to come. The standout, however, was **Nur**, who looked after us during both our dinners at the café. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness truly set him apart. He consistently went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Our room was located right on the beach, which was absolutely beautiful. The resort provides complimentary snorkeling equipment, so we spent hours exploring the crystal-clear waters. We were lucky enough to spot a turtle and plenty of colourful reef fish right off the beach! The only minor downside was that the island is quite large, and the restaurants and recreational areas are spread out. Since buggies are only provided during check-in and check-out, we found ourselves doing quite a bit of walking. However, this was a small inconvenience compared to everything else the resort had to offer. Overall, this was one of our favourite stays in the Maldives and the perfect ending to an unforgettable holiday. Its close proximity to the airport also made our departure incredibly convenient. We highly recommend Niva Kurumba to anyone looking for warm hospitality, thoughtful service, and a relaxing beach getaway. We would happily return!

It was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and always ready to support us, especially Umayma, who was always ready to help in any way she could. The resort was gorgeous!

We had an amazing time at the beach bar at Niva Kurumba! The atmosphere was relaxing, the drinks were excellent, and the service made the experience even better. Islom and Sai were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They remembered our preferences, checked in without being intrusive, and always had a smile on their faces. Their outstanding hospitality turned a great evening into a memorable one. If you’re staying here, I highly recommend stopping by the beach bar—you’ll be well taken care of!
