Riu Palace Maldivas

We’re a family of 3 with a 11 year old daughter. After a busy year we desperately needed a relaxing holiday. This was everything we needed and a whole lot more. At the time of our travel Trump was raging war with the Middle East and only direct flights were leaving for the Maldives, despite the time of year the hotel was only at 35% occupancy. The hotel was delightful with spacious rooms, with stunning views with balcony s and terraces. Our room was a ground floor with terrace leading out on the most beautifully soft sandy beach leading directly into the sea protected from the waves by a coral reef that encircled the island. This allowed for amazing snorkelling with clusters of coral which provided a habitat for an abundance of fish, including Juvenal black tip reef sharks just cruising by. One of our highlights was wondering what was going to great us in our room with the imaginative towel art. We would often chuckle at what was waiting for us. The food was exceptional the buffet was by far on e of the best we have ever been too. The staff over the entire resort were delightful, always greeting you with your name and a smile, nothing was too much of an effort. If you are looking for a relaxing paradise with sublime sunsets and fantastic facilities you will not go wrong with the RIU Palce Madivas.

I’ve come here two years in a row and each time I am amazed at how good the staff are. Anu, Desi, Rumesh, and Sanju from the bar made it feel like I was at home at again, they remembered us from last year, they always knew what drinks we liked, I would go again just for them. If you’re looking for idyllic views with personal and warm staff, come here.

Our stay at Riu Palace Maldives was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Everything about this resort was beyond amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful balcony with a view of the sea that made every morning feel like paradise. We stayed on the sunset side, and the beach there was paradise — soft sand, calm waters, and amazing sunset. We took the seaplane transfer from Male to the hotel, and while it was hot until we were up in the air, the views were absolutely stunning! Flying over the turquoise waters and spotting the various islands below was a memorable experience. The journey was surprisingly quick, and we were at the resort in around 2hrs from handling at Malè. Snorkeling from the sunset side of the island was fantastic! The reef at Riu Atoll was next level!! and we were lucky enough to explore it multiple times. I’d highly recommend snorkeling at different times throughout the day because we kept seeing new and exciting sea life each time we went out. We were blown away but what we saw including clown fish. Special thanks to SJ, Sanju and Daicey at the bar — they made our experience even more enjoyable with their amazing service and friendly, entertaining personalities. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! The entire staff was incredibly polite and attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The dining experience was a highlight of our trip as well. The steak restaurant served some of the best food we’ve had, and the Itlaian was also great. The buffet was also outstanding, with an incredible variety of dishes that suited all tastes. Honestly, it’s one of the best buffets we’ve ever experienced, and the choices were always fresh and delicious. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Every aspect of the Riu Palace Maldives exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t think twice about returning. It’s a perfect place for relaxation, adventure, and indulgence all in one. Highly recommended!

Fab holiday booked again for next year,staff are amazing can't ask for more , the staff in the sports bar are fab Arelea , Rowan and all the other boys were so welcoming the management should be so pleased of their staff ,our cleaner Adam and Mahey in number 064 were so nice and helpful cleaned our room immaculate. We had a private pool (wow) place was stunning 😍 there was loads to do i have two teenage boys and they never got bored best holiday , weather was really hot food , was amazing so much choice , we tried the Beef Steakhouse, the Italian Sofia and Krystal absolutely stunning meals , all the staff in the Dhoni and Palm restaurant were so welcoming, we had a fab time and definitely (booked already )to go back next year . White night , World night ,Flower Power night fab , DJ was really good also the DJ and the Saxophone player on the beach until sunset were really good Thanks to everyone in the Riu Palace and the Riu Atoll for making it so special for myself and my two boys c u soon can't wait xx

Such a wonderfull Place k have ever been.. everything was so Perfect including Food and Drinks.. Special thanks to palace Bar Team Ego made my Holiday unforgetable.. They are making the Place better and better. I would Like to mention some Special peoples at the Palace Bar..
