Villa Park Sun Island

I had a wonderful experience at the resort and I would especially like to thank Simna for her exceptional service. She was incredibly kind, professional, attentive, and always willing to help. Her warm attitude and excellent way of dealing with guests made my stay truly special. Thank you, Simna, for making my experience so memorable!

The location of the resort is stunning, a private island located in the South Ari Atoll. I need to be sincere, the beginning was a little bit of a difficult experience: we arrived with a delay from our airline company and when we approached the Villa counter at the airport, the person who was supposedly waiting for us said: "You were supposed to arrive at 17:30, we don't have a flight now!" Apart from this first inconvenience, our stay was really enjoyable, especially thanks to Simna who helped us all the way. She is really lovely and professional.

The location was very nice and the hotel territory is amazing, very clean. We stayed at the Sun beach villa with pool, the room was cleaned two times a day, which was very nice. Sun island beach restaurant staff (sadly only asked Jashan for his name) was super helpful and friendly, they even decorated our table for our farewell dinner. We traveled to celebrate two of our birthdays and had a special dinner on the beach where the chef and our waiters Ibrahim and Navaneeth turned it into a fine dining experience. Also we went to spa, very big thanks to Echa, Yola and Sangeetha for our magical time there. 10/10! What we were dissatisfied with is the front desk. Sometimes we would call two-three times to ask for a service and it still wouldn’t be done. Also we were disappointed with communication with our concierge/host Niagara. She was often not answering for hours and we had to double text her rather frequently. Overall good, would give this hotel a 4 out of 5. I doubt we would come back to this exact hotel but our vacation went well in general.

A Truly Wonderful Person Who Made Our Holiday Special! We spent seven days at the resort, and we had all our breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the same restaurant. Throughout our entire stay, Mr. Shah Alam made us feel incredibly welcome and genuinely looked after. What really touched us was how thoughtful and attentive he was every single day. He remembered the table we liked and would kindly keep it for us whenever possible. It may seem like a small gesture, but after seeing him every day and receiving that kind of personal attention, it made us feel truly special. Mr. Shah Alam also became our unofficial holiday activity advisor! He recommended some wonderful experiences at the resort, including the shark and stingray feeding, fire show, crab race, and several other activities. We followed his recommendations and had an amazing time. Some of our favourite memories from the holiday came from the activities he suggested. And then there was his talent for photography! One day, he saw us taking selfies and very kindly offered to take some photos for us. We thought we would get a couple of nice holiday pictures, but we were genuinely blown away by how good they turned out. He captured some truly Instagram-worthy shots that we will treasure for a long time. More than anything, it was his kindness, warmth, and genuine care that stood out. He always greeted us with a smile and went out of his way to make our experience better. People like Mr. Shah Alam are what make a holiday feel truly special. We were so touched by his hospitality that we felt he deserved a review of his own. He is an absolute credit to the restaurant and the resort. Thank you so much, Mr. Shah Alam, for looking after us, making us laugh, helping us discover some amazing experiences, and even giving us some beautiful photographs to take home with us. You played a big part in making our seven-day stay truly unforgettable!
