Lagoon Attitude Mauritius

Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay here recently. Took a few days to chill into the holiday mode especially after such a long flight but it was worth the wait. Loved the beach and warm sea. Plenty of sunbeds everywhere scattered around the resort in different areas. The sleep quality was good. Loved the staff especially Henna who always had a smile on her face and always remembered your drink choices. Loved the evening entertainment, that made it for us ,lots of laughter and dancing. Played Boules and soft archery in the dappled shade most days to take a break from the sun. Loved most of the food but my favourite at lunch time was Taba J ( Mauritian Street Food).Adored the magic bowls they were delicious. Liked breakfast in the buffet restaurant but not too much in the evening as the heat was so intense. The hotel dogs weren't a problem at all they used to come and lie down under our parasol. Our room attendant Meghan did a fabulous job every day. Went on the Glass Bottom Boat one morning and thoroughly enjoyed it, very interesting. Had a late flight home and was kindly able to keep our room till pick up. If relaxing on a lovely beach in the day and dancing at night is your thing then this is the hotel for you. But there's different areas to go to if you want quiet etc. Thankyou to all the team who made our holiday very memorable.

Sorry it has taken so long to write review. Visited in early jan and had a relaxing lovely holiday. Buffet was good but we ate in other restaurats too. All amazing and didnt mind paying extra for lobster and bottles of wine etc very reasonable we thought. Husband i both had massages which i can honestly say were best we have ever had (sorry i have forgitten girls names). A special shout out to Henna for her wonderful smile and service throughout our 2 weeks a pleasure to meet such a beautiful pleasant girl who always remembered our drinks and had them at table sometimes before we sat down. Thankyou (head waitress or bar manager in the making). Also to Begum who kept our room spotless throughout her attention to detail brilliant. Only a small thing but i thought room lacked charactor perhaps a few local picture would brighten it up. All in all we would return

Went for a "me time" 2 nights stay at Lagoon Attitude. Loved the buffets on all the days and the fish dishes were simply gorgeous. Stayed in a room facing the main pool and could follow all the activities from the room itself. Great attitude from all the staff and the cocktails at the bars were also great.

We had a wonderful time at the Lagoon Attitude. The whole experience felt much more 'local' than other resorts, with a big focus on ecology. The staff were amazing, genuinely friendly - and you really get the feeling that they like working there. There was no compromise on luxury, and the food was fantastic. My only suggestion would be to have more focus on local songs and music with the live performances, this would really lift the atmosphere.

My husband and I returned last week from a 7 day stay at Lagoon Attitude. What a fantastic holiday. All al a carte restaurant's were fantastic (especially Kot Nou), however I think the buffet should have a little more options...but what they did offer was lovely. The hotel itself was great, clean and beautifully situated in a stunning area and surrounded by a beautiful beach. I don't have many negative comments, however the other feedback (other than the buffet options) were regarding the air con around the hotel. The restaurant's and reception were so hot and muggy that dinner felt like a chore (even the staff were wiping their brows constantly from the sweating). Also, checking into the hotel felt a little basic. There was no information about where to get beach towels, how to book restaurants, where things were, etc. We had to figure this out ourselves. All in all, this hotel is fantastic and the staff are amazing!! MASSIVE shout out to a few in particular: Reena from Kot Nou, she is an absolute superstar and is a true asset to the hotel), Ganesha from Seabreaze, he was super friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and also to Begum who always gave us a morning greeting when cleaning our room. Also the entertainment staff (especially the aqua gym guys) were super engaging and fun to be around. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a lovely stay in Mauritius!
