Lagoon Attitude Mauritius

Our stay at Lagoon Attitude (Mauritius) was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first moment we arrived, everything was handled with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The reception team made us feel instantly welcome, and that level of attention continued throughout our entire stay. Every detail of the service was flawless — the staff, the atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience truly exceeded all our expectations. However, the most important reason for our stay was our wedding, and this is where the hotel truly went above and beyond. A very special thank you goes to Carine, who played a key role in making our day absolutely perfect. Her dedication, organization, and personal touch turned our wedding into a truly unforgettable experience. She was always available, attentive to every detail, and made everything feel effortless for us. We cannot thank her — and the entire team — enough for creating such beautiful memories. This was more than just a stay; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

Just returned from 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel and wow dont know where to start. Check in was quick and smooth and were given a short orientation walk around the hotel which was really helpful. The rooms were great and spotlessly clean - during our stay we were in a sea view ground floor room and a sea view suite and both rooms were lovely and kept very clean. Special mention to Begum for keeping our room spotless and she is definately the "Queen of Clean"! All dining options were great - the buffet at Bennitiers was really good - was amazed how hot the food was on the buffet every time we ate there and the Mauritian Gala dinner on a Wednesday was superb and not to be missed. Our favourite a la carte was the lovely Kot Nou - the food was so good an flavoursome and great staff and service. Special mention to Reena for being so friendly and making us feel like part of her family and going above and beyond on out last night by arranging a special dinner for us. Coral a la carte restaurant was also excellent with amazing food and great service as was Lemongrass a la carte as well Special mention must go to Henna at the Waves bar for her professional service, friendly and welcoming, attentative and providing excellent service to all guests. Pools and beach - the hotel has a no towels to be left on sunbeds policy and this really works and seems to be respected by most guests. No matter what time you went out to the pool or beach areas you knew that you would find a lounger and this was so relaxing - definately no need to be up extra early to reserve a sunbed here. The Lagoon is a wonderful and beautiful hotel and so relaxing but also has good activities if you want them - the foam pool party on a Saturday was amazing and great fun and there are water fitness classes in the pool every morning. The nightly entertainment was excellent - different actions each night of the week and the stand out performer for us was the"man with the hat" - amazing performance. Each act does something different and were all excellent . Cant wait to return to this hotel and are now looking to get re-booked for next year - would definately recommend the hotel

LagOon attitude is a very beautiful resort,cozy atmosphere with friendly staff.. First of all, i was fully impressed and happy of my room( the whirpool suite). Months ago i sent an email ,called at the resort to make sure i get a “seaview balcony” n not the tennis court one. To my surprise , as i entered the rOom , i saw that my request was a success. As it was my birthday n wedding anniversary..seeing the requested room almost made me thrilled.i cant thank you enough for that.. tabaJ food was 10000000/10..ashvan always smiling n friendly made us feel comfortable.. Thanks to noshima alsO for a late check out.. i had enough time to spend in my room.. Therefore we were really disappointed with the birthday cake they provided to us . it was not a fresh one.. not pleasant to eat ,rancidity.. and off-flavours… Secondly, i would like to say.. we woke up on our very first morning, my husband asked me to make him a cup of tea. To my surprise the milk powder in the little jar was exposed to air causing clumping n all.. i told my husband that i was going to make him a black coffee instead and throw away the tea. Unfortunately it was the same case with the coffee. It was already oxidised which i had to throw again. But overall anything asked at the reception, iron ,toothbrush etc were right on time.. very rapid service. Food was already delicious at a la carte restaurant .. beverages 9/10. The boathouse team were also friendly. I would like to add.. benitier food ,deserts were tasty depending on days and maybe chef in charge.. more varieties in the morning than night. Note that we have been to many other attitude hotels but for us TabaJ at LAGOON ATTITUDE stays the best.. on top of list.. And a big thanks also to the “indian” staff trying all best to keep their customer happy.

I stayed 4 nights at Lagoon Attitude. I have been coming to this hotel since it was Sensimar Lagoon Mauritius, formerly Blue Lagoon Sensimar, and it remains a place I enjoy returning to every year. The hotel still has a beautiful setting, a relaxing atmosphere and many wonderful staff members who make the stay enjoyable. I would especially like to thank Mrs Karine at the front office, who always has the same warm and welcoming attitude every year. She immediately makes us feel at ease from the moment we arrive. A thank you as well to Mr Raja for the wine that he kindly arranged in our room. These small gestures make a real difference. A special thank you also goes to Mrs Reena for her excellent service, from the main restaurant to Kot Nou. She is always smiling, welcoming and attentive, and she truly contributed to making our stay more comfortable. I would also like to give a very special mention to Henna at the Wave Bar. She is always smiling, kind and full of positive energy. Most of the time she was the one serving us and she always did it with such warmth and professionalism. She has a way of making guests feel comfortable and welcome, and every interaction with her made our stay even more special. Her friendliness, attention and positive attitude never changed during our stay and she is definitely one of the reasons why this hotel feels so welcoming. I would also like to mention the gentleman whose name I do not remember, who this year was working at Lemon Grass and last year was at Coral. Every year he has the same kindness, professionalism and warm attitude wherever he is. He always takes great care of us and makes us feel welcome. The quality of the food at Lemon Grass was also very good and the dishes were excellent. Staff like him are one of the reasons why we keep coming back to this hotel year after year. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The main issue was the room cleaning service. Every day, our room was cleaned very late, around 4:30 pm. By that time, our towels had already been used all day and we had no tissue paper left. Each time we called, we were told that someone would come soon, but in the end the room was only done around 4:30 pm, which is really too late. The terrace was also not cleaned properly. One day after the grass had been trimmed, there were small rocks and grass all over our terrace, but nobody came to clean it. At the boathouse, one of the staff members, the tall man with sunglasses, was very rude. I went to ask for a kayak and he remained seated on his chair. I asked a second time how I should proceed, and he simply replied, “Al sign dans livre.” What disappointed me was that he did not behave the same way with another tourist who was in front of me; with her he was much more polite and welcoming. As a Mauritian guest, this made me feel uncomfortable and gave me the impression that I was being treated differently. I do not know if that was the reason, but it was honestly disappointing. On the other hand, the shorter staff member at the boathouse was kind and helpful. As someone who comes back to this hotel every year, I would also suggest creating a loyalty programme for returning guests. It could be something simple like points, discounts, a complimentary upgrade or small benefits for regular guests. I think this would encourage loyal customers like me to continue returning and would make us feel appreciated. Overall, I had another lovely stay and I know I will continue coming back, just as I have done from the Blue Lagoon Sensimar days until now as Lagoon Attitude. With a few improvements to the cleaning service, terrace maintenance, the attitude at the boathouse and more appreciation for loyal returning guests, the experience could become even better.
