Long Beach Mauritius

I was lucky enough to spend my 60th birthday at Long Beach Mauritius where I had a fantastic time .I was thoroughly spoilt by my Partner Leighanne..Long Beach was a lovely place and the staff and hotel went above and beyond to make it the perfect place to spend my special birthday..I must give a special mention to two guys in particular..Raj,who from the moment we met him made himself very approachable and was an integral part of making our holiday and my Birthday a memorable one..also Ramesh from Beach bar and restaurant who also went out of his way to provide us with anything we requested and was always prepared to listen to any feedback we gave him ..Long Beach are lucky to have you both ..The ladies at reception were also very accommodating when Leighanne was arranging to have our room decorated for my 60th …looked amazing..and lastly a Big THANK YOU..to Pamela who greeted us with Warm smile before serving us each day .We had the Best Time..Many Thanks ,Gary&Leighanne❤️

Oh wow! We had an amazing break at Long Beach. The food, service, rooms and location was a touch of heaven. The staff could not do more for you. Big shout out to all the staff especially Sarah, I have never seen such care and pride she took in the beautiful flower arrangements in the bathroom at Tides. We will be back soon x

We were aware this was not adults only prior to booking for our honeymoon, but totally underestimated the amount of kids / families and the noise levels. Definitely a resort for families, not for couples! The thing that lets this hotel down is the service. There were a few exceptions of great servers, but generally the service was extremely slow across the whole hotel. There are buttons on loungers, but we gave up with this early on as they would either not come over at all or it would take a long while before getting any drinks. The drinks were often wrong too. There were also occasions it felt an inconvenience to the staff for asking for a drink or service, which is pretty terrible! The food quality is ok, however they do not make it clear that the Japanese restaurant (hasu) is not included in the all inclusive package; we went anyway but left early as it was the highest price for sushi we have ever seen (and we’ve been to Japan!). The best part was our room (junior suite), which was lovely with a comfy bed and good bathroom. The housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and were never intrusive. They also do a turn down each evening which is a nice touch

We’ve just returned from a week at Long Beach in Mauritius, and without a doubt, it’s the best holiday we’ve ever had. The beach is absolutely pristine, and the views out to sea are truly breathtaking. We spent time snorkelling and saw the most incredible sea life. It was an unforgettable experience. Travelling with four children, we weren’t sure how it would go, but between the beach and the pool, they genuinely didn’t want to leave. The staff were exceptional in every possible way. Every single person we encountered greeted us with a smile, asked how we were doing, and went out of their way to make our stay special. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We had younger children with us, and the staff were so thoughtful, bringing their food quickly and always making sure they were happy and comfortable. Speaking of food, it was fantastic throughout our stay. We especially loved the kids’ options by the pool, healthy, high quality meals like proper chicken and beef patties rather than typical fast food. Everything was fresh and genuinely delicious, and the kids loved it. We dined at Chopsticks one evening, which was a real highlight. The food was excellent, and again, the staff were wonderful, so attentive and great with the children. Most evenings we ate at the buffet, which had an incredible variety. Every night felt different, with so many options, all beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The team there were just as impressive, friendly, welcoming, and always making sure we had a lovely table, often overlooking the sea. The kids also attended the kids’ club a couple of times and absolutely loved it. We felt completely comfortable leaving them there. The activities were engaging and fun, things like treasure hunts, and the staff were incredibly capable, warm, and nurturing. Looking ahead, we can already say we will be returning. As the kids get older, there is even more for them to enjoy, climbing walls, paddle courts, table tennis, and so much more. The facilities really are outstanding. Even small details stood out. On the rare occasion we needed housekeeping, they responded immediately and were always helpful and efficient. All in all, this was a flawless experience. A well deserved 10 out of 10, we truly could not fault a single thing.

The food was excellent, with great flavors and quality, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. The surroundings were just beautiful, creating a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish. I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!
