This is the worst hotel in the Mauritius pls don't come to pls hotel he blame the missing item on the trainee without any proof they terminate the trainer if they don't have proof please don't come to this hotel 28 September my name is KPS they are blaming that I have taken necklace from the room after doing takedown service without any proof there security is the worst if they don't have proof they will terminate the trainer pls don't come to this hotel

Great location, service of the drinks could be better , not enough beds around the pool, staff were very friendly

Had a wonderful experience at the spa! Everything was relaxing and amazing, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Banshi and Tushar for their warm welcome, kindness, and great care. They made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some pampering

We booked an all inclusive package though TUI UK - I thought we had booked a winner, the resort ooked amazing in pictures and video but fell well short of its supposed 5-Star rating. As soon as we arrived and sat in reception my first impression there and then was that it looked a bit tired with evident wear, chipped skirting boards and the huge shutters that looked a little rusty.. apprehension set in! After waiting around for four hours we finally got our room, a junior suite, my heart sank as soon as we opened the door and walked in to an obviously tired and dated room featuring: A cracked bath tub slathered with sealant and grubby side panels - something you would expect to see on some kind of house of horrors TV show Wardrobes with dirty doors and water damage - and they are in the bathroom which I never got used to during our stay! The sink units we covered in drain flies The walls in the suite had visible signs of wear and tear under the paint work Cheap fittings such as the toilet roll holder which must have cost the hotel about £1.50 and the holder for the shower head was cracked so it kept falling off - we just left it to hang when not in use Dirt everywhere - the room looked like it needed a deep clean down to every little nook and cranny and this seemed to be the theme across the whole resort - the whole place needed a refurb or complete ground up new developement Over our 11 day stay we kept finding cockroaches in one of the wardrobes We didn’t bother trying to move rooms as we came to the conclusion most rooms would have similar issues Dining was okay but started to get repetitive once you had been in each one three times Sapori was our favourite, didn’t bother with Hasu as after spending a decent wedge of money to stay here I was damned if I was spending anymore at this point There’s some lovely staff here but service could vary day by day from excellent to poor, occasionally staff would ask us for a review on google, I’ve never experienced that before and declined We did see mice running around Tides and the pool bar and birds were also an issue encouraged by staff not clearing tables quickly enough Drinks in the Shores bar were hit or miss depending who made them and evening entertainment was somewhat enjoyable depending on the act, we did particularly like ‘The Crazy Guitarist’ - you were great! The beach is average and as soon as you walk away from the resort it gets bad - full of broken coral and rocks - if you booked with TUI they show you a beautiful picture of long stretch of good looking beach running the length from the Solana Resort to Long Beach, which is far from the reality. Out of interest we walked along the coast down to Palmar and the only nice stretch of beach we walked on was between the The Residence and Lux Belle Mare All in all the Long Beach Resort did match up to its 5-Star rating, it is tired, dated and dirty and not on the level of other resorts we have experienced, I would honestly say that this is a 3-Star resort Disappointed and if you are thinking of booking and reading this review.. look elsewhere, you have been warned!!

We had a wonderful 6-day stay at Long Beach Mauritius and came away with some beautiful memories as a family. We booked a Family Suite, which was very spacious, comfortable and perfect for our family. The hospitality throughout the resort was excellent. The staff at the restaurants we tried, Le Marché and Sapori, as well as the housekeeping, reception and other teams, were all warm, friendly and welcoming. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and being on the east coast gave us the opportunity to enjoy a stunning sunrise at around 5:30 am. It was truly worth waking up early for! The complimentary glass-bottom boat ride was a great experience, and the parasailing offered by the operator on the resort premises was fantastic. The kids had a wonderful time, which made it even more special for us as parents. The resort also has excellent gym and sports facilities, although we didn't get much time to explore them. One of our favourite aspects was the evening atmosphere, with live music and beautiful ambience creating a lovely setting to unwind after a day of activities. Overall, Long Beach Mauritius was a fantastic choice for a family holiday, combining beautiful surroundings, fun activities, great hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to families looking for a memorable Mauritius getaway!
