Long Beach Mauritius

We stayed at Long Beach Mauritius for ten nights on the all-inclusive package, and from start to finish the service at this hotel was exceptional. We arrived around 10am after an early flight and, although our room wasn’t ready, we were welcomed to use a guest lounge with large showers to freshen up. We were given towel cards and invited to start using all the facilities, food and drinks straight away. The same courtesy was extended on checkout day — our transfer wasn’t until 5pm, but we were able to enjoy the hotel until 3pm and use the lounge again before leaving. It made such a difference and really set the tone for the whole stay. The staff here are genuinely wonderful. Everyone is kind, chatty, and always happy to help or go the extra mile. A few special mentions: - Raj, the manager of Sapori, the Italian restaurant, is true hospitality personified. He rearranged our reservations with ease, made fantastic recommendations, and ensured our glasses were never empty. - Nilesh at Sapori was an absolute delight — so friendly and attentive. - Yusrah, who looked after us at breakfast and lunch, started every day with the biggest smile. These are just a few names, but honestly every member of staff we encountered was fantastic. The food and drink far exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive. We didn’t have a single bad meal. Even the buffet was excellent (and we love our food!). We highly recommend trying dishes you wouldn’t usually choose — the curries at the buffet were outstanding. Sapori was our favourite restaurant for both lunch and dinner, closely followed by Chopsticks. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and you can really tell the care that goes into each dish. Booking restaurants was easy too — each morning at breakfast we reserved a table for the evening and never had any issues getting a space. We never once felt the need to order from the paid sections of the menu. There is more than enough variety included in the package, both for food and drinks. Most cocktails and beers are included, and the Sauvignon Blanc from One Grape that’s part of the package is genuinely lovely. The bar staff in the evenings were also great, encouraging us to try different cocktails and always keeping our drinks topped up, along with bar snacks. A shoutout as well to the evening entertainment — brilliant singers, bands and dancers that really showcase Mauritian culture. The hotel grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept, full of flowers and greenery. A small (slightly amusing) warning — at night there are some very large snails that make their way across the paths, so keep an eye out! Our room was lovely and housekeeping did a great job throughout. On arrival we noticed a slight damp smell and that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. We mentioned it to reception and it was fixed while we were at dinner, with staff checking in afterwards to make sure we were happy. The responsiveness was excellent. We’d also recommend chatting to the licensed locals on the beach. They operate with permits for the hotel area, and we booked an incredible boat excursion with Monica and Samual which was a real highlight of our trip. The sports facilities are great too — a gym, tennis courts, plus padel and pickleball courts. We played padel a few times (there is a small fee for racket hire), and the court is covered which helps keep the sun off. The only small note was that the gym weights don’t increase in very large increments — but you are on holiday after all! We honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. We had the most amazing time and are already talking about coming back. A huge thank you to all of the staff for making our holiday so special.

Long Beach is a magnificent resort with amazing facilities. The staff is extremely helpful and efficient. I definitely recommend to anyone traveling as a group or family!

Amazing experience The receptionists are so welcoming and friendly and experienced specially Juanita and yashna The massage was excellent with the therapist Varsha... Its my second experience here which I loved so much and will definitely come again ❤️❤️❤️

What a fantastic hotel! Beautiful decor, amazing beach and for us, most importantly the staff were so hard working and friendly. From the pool bar to the lunch restaurant and evening meals and drinks - they all went above and beyond and made our holiday so special. Toory in the pool bar greeted us by name every morning and really looked after us throughout the day with the help of Jinu, our smiley beach waiter. Annabelle at lunchtime was so super organised and efficient and her service was amazing every day. Our favourite restaurant was Chopsticks (although all the restaurants were outstanding) and we had several visits there throughout our stay. The lovely Reshan went above and beyond each time and we were also served by Rohit who, again was brilliant (running out of good descriptive words here!). Lastly but definitely not least, our good friends in the Shores main bar. Deepu was there most nights and he really did look after us each night with the help of Amit, Sourav, Neha & Saksham. There were some fabulous singers and band on each evening with music and dancing afterwards. The staff was very friendly. It was very relaxing here because there was no noise . 10/10 would recommend to my friends and family
