LUX* Belle Mare

Our stay at LUX* Belle Mare was simply exceptional and exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. There is something truly special about the atmosphere of this resort – every staff member greets you with a smile and goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. As honeymoon guests, we were invited to the Celebration Corner shortly after our arrival. This was one of the highlights of our experience. Together with the team, we planned our entire stay, including a cooking class, cocktail class, spa treatments and massages, a romantic dinner at one of the à la carte restaurants, and many other special experiences. Everything was perfectly organized throughout our holiday, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy every moment. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Keshini and the Celebration Corner team for creating such wonderful memories. The level of service throughout the resort was truly outstanding. We would especially like to thank Billal, the barista, and Divya, who always welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. They were fantastic, but honestly, the same can be said about every single member of the team. We have rarely experienced such consistently high standards of hospitality. The food and beverage offering deserves special recognition. The quality of the dishes and drinks was absolutely top-class. Amari and, above all, Duck Laundry completely exceeded our expectations and provided some of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Breakfast, lunch, late lunch, and dinner offered incredible variety, and we never once felt bored with the selection. At Beach Rouge, we particularly loved the Tuna Crudo and the freshly prepared Fish & Chips, both of which were outstanding. The beach is simply breathtaking – wide, beautifully maintained, and covered with soft white powder-like sand. There was always plenty of space and a large selection of sunbeds available, regardless of the time of day. The beach service was excellent, with food and drinks delivered directly to our loungers. The access to the ocean was perfect, and the snorkeling near the coral reef was one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend taking advantage of the included water sports activities, especially snorkeling, as the nearby reef is absolutely beautiful. We were also impressed by how well the resort cares for its gardens, vegetation, and the surrounding environment. The grounds are immaculate and create a true tropical paradise atmosphere. The resort offers far more than just a beach holiday. We loved the Mauritian-themed evening at Mondo, where we enjoyed delicious local specialties followed by an amazing traditional dance and live music performance at Mixologist Bar. It was wonderful to see the hotel showcasing the authentic culture of Mauritius. Additional events such as the Bottega Prosecco and Martini experiences were also fantastic additions to the entertainment program. Even when the weather is not perfect for the beach, there is an incredible amount to do. The gym is excellent (special greetings to Patrick!), and there are tennis courts, painting sessions, yoga, Pilates, a games area, and countless other activities. The spa deserves special praise as well – beautiful facilities, excellent massages and treatments, relaxing pools, saunas, and highly professional and friendly therapists. LUX* Belle Mare is much more than a luxury resort. It is a place where every detail is carefully considered and where every guest is made to feel special. We are leaving with unforgettable memories and can honestly say that this has been one of the best holidays of our lives. We recommend LUX* Belle Mare wholeheartedly and sincerely hope to return one day. For us, this resort truly is a little piece of paradise on Earth.

We had a wonderful stay at LUX* Belle Mare. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning beach views with crystal clear blue water and stunning white sands What made our experience especially memorable was the incredible team. Every member of staff was warm, friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and that every need was taken care of. Their genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. Make sure to wake up for sunrise on the beach for some unforgettable views. We would love to return again in the future.

We had just come from a hotel on the West Coast and the main difference is the beach, here its the picture perfect beach, simply stunning. I never went in the pool as the children tended to be around it and also there were no handrails to get in and i am recovering from a leg injury. This hotel is architecturally beautiful, very white, very clean, everything so well done. The buffet restaurant was fairly noisy but i think thats because of the design of it, you could not fault the food though, every taste was catered for, the breakfasts and dinner offered everything. Lunch we would eat at the beach, a buzzer on the parasol brought a wonderful man along each time bringing whatever food and drinks you wanted. We also ate at the Chinese Restaurant once, wasnt overly impressed and it was very expensive, they tried to charge us more than we had had aswell, not very friendly either so we didnt return. The Beach restaurant was nice and a beautiful setting. The rooms were nice, one of our rooms the TV didnt work the first day and within about half hour a new 65" flat screen tv was on the wall working (thats good service!). I had been given a room on the 3rd floor (2nd floor to Americans) and i have a leg injury so they kindly moved me the next day to a ground floor room (and i ended up with a seaview which was great). You get water bottles and a fantastic beach bag to keep (mine has just been on another holiday and washed in the machine and looks brand new again), unfortunately when i moved rooms there werent any water bottles so i didnt get one in the end. The rooms were a little shabby and the room service slow (i asked a couple times for things but never got them). The mini bar is great but you have to pay for things like vodka/gin as its half sized bottles not the mini ones. Would i stay here again, probably not as too big

What an amazing hotel! We had the best holiday - every part of the resort was beautiful with calm and chic decor. Our villa was amazing, with a view down to the sea we didn't expect. We couldn't have asked for more, Kumar, Mahen and Ganesh were a whats app away for anything we needed - and surprised us throughout the holiday with thoughtful touches for us and the kids! One of the amazing parts about the villa was having a reserved part of the beach, where Girish made our trip really memorable, he was so kind to us and our children. Thank you to everyone at Lux me, we had the best holiday and have come away with the most special memories x

Our birthday celebration at LUX* Belle Mare from May 25 to May 27, 2026, was an absolutely magical experience for my husband, our three-year-old son, and me. From the very moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the team made us feel incredibly special. Our daily visits to Café LUX* were a true highlight, thanks to the exceptional care of Yashveer and Bilal. They welcomed us with genuine smiles, served the most exquisite coffees and warm drinks, and treated us to perfectly baked, delicious cookies. Their generosity and accommodating nature set a wonderful tone for our entire stay. When a minor room issue came up, Mr. Moustaqueem stepped in with utmost professionalism and efficiency, resolving the matter swiftly and ensuring our comfort remained uninterrupted. Even the person who did our room service was amazing (vanessen, cannot remember his name sorry). The dining experiences were equally spectacular, filled with outstanding service that truly elevated our trip. At the restaurant, Rohan proved to be an absolute gem of a person, going completely above and beyond to make our stay deeply memorable. We also received world-class service from Dakhseesh, Gael, Ravi, Jean Paul, and Amar, who were all equally amazing and stand out as incredible assets to the resort. To add to the magic, Mimi and Marie Claude at the food truck were so wonderfully kind, serving up exceptionally delicious food that our family absolutely loved. Our little boy also had the most wonderful time, and the staff made him feel so included and happy. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at the kids club. Even though we cannot recall all of their individual names, they were so incredibly nice and professional, keeping our son safe and wonderfully entertained. The entire team at LUX* Belle Mare turned a simple birthday trip into a lifetime of beautiful memories, and we cannot praise their dedication enough. Beegoo-Jugurnauth Family
