LUX* Grand Gaube

My second trip to Mauritius with my husband and we fell in love. We will continue to visit this wonderful resort for years to come. We went in June / July for our baby moon. Its our first baby so we were anxious about how comfortable I would be at the resort. The staff I can honestly say go above and beyond to look after you. Witnessing how much little children were doted on and looked after as well as I ensured this will be our favorite family holiday for the years to come. From the staff at the front desk, cleaning, maintenence, hosts, chefs, servers, managers - everyone is so friendly and helpful - Always checking in on you or greeting as you pass by. It truly enhances your experience A big shout out to Reedo and Kumar and Viresh who's beach service felt like a 10 star resort. Ensuring I was super comfortable with pillows and water everyday. Rouba and Marie at the breakfast service. Always making sure our little bump was fed. Naresh, Deeya, Yasser, Mahdav Dhiksha. We have never had such attentive service. We visited all the restaurants on our stay several times over our two week stay(we actually never even managed to go to the buffet as we were enjoying our ala carte experience so much) I can honestly say these staff members are world class. Their recomendation and attention to detail never ceased to amaze us. Always being incredibly considerate with me being pregnant. We felt like we were really looked after at every step of the way. As true foodies, my husband and I had the most incredible restaurant experiences throughout our stay and truly enjoying our culinary experience. Lastly the facility itself is wonderful. The gym, activity centre, views from the rooms, beach, water sports are perfect for any couple or family with kids of any age. We cant wait for next year to return to this exact spot

My girlfriend and I are both Mauritian, and we stayed at the hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and we both really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, especially Alia at the bar. She was so welcoming and lively she really made our night!

We have just returned from an incredible stay at LUX* Grand Gaube, and all we can say is what a fantastic resort. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were made to feel so welcome. The resort itself is stunning, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We left feeling completely relaxed, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. What really sets LUX* Grand Gaube apart is its people. Every member of staff we came across was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The level of service throughout the resort was exceptional. A few people deserve a special mention for making our holiday even more memorable. Chef Balbir was outstanding. He always made time to check that everything was perfect, ensured food was always replenished, and happily accommodated any requests we had. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and his attention to detail and genuine care really stood out. Karan at Bodrum Blue and the bodrum staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. He was always welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making every visit to the restaurant a pleasure. A big thank you to Kevin at the dessert station for making us a delicious apple tart and even taking the time to share the recipe with us. It was such a thoughtful gesture. We'd also like to thank Kevin, our waiter, whose friendly smile and great service were always appreciated. Thank you to Madhvi from housekeeping, who kept our room spotless every day. It was always a pleasure returning to such a beautifully prepared room. Freddy, Vikesh and Rishi were always smiling, checking in on us, and making sure we had everything we needed. Purgun was another fantastic member of the team who consistently provided excellent service. A special mention to Sun at the spa, whose warm personality made every visit even more enjoyable. Finally, thank you to Gevine for such a lovely farewell. It was a wonderful way to end what had been an amazing holiday. We did experience one small issue during our stay, but it would be unfair not to mention how professionally it was handled. Giany and Jason dealt with it quickly, listened to our concerns, and resolved everything to our complete satisfaction. It reinforced just how committed the team is to ensuring guests have the best possible experience. While we've highlighted a few individuals, the reality is that every member of staff contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. The service was consistently excellent, and everyone seemed genuinely proud to work there. Thank you to everyone at LUX* Grand Gaube for making our holiday so memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the resort to our friends and family, and we very much hope to return in the future.

We travelled to Lux Grand Gaube at the end of June for our honeymoon and cannot recommend the resort enough. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, luxurious suites, incredible facilities, and some of the best food we’ve ever experienced. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, creating a truly unforgettable experience. However, what really makes this hotel stand out is its amazing people. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to make our honeymoon as special as possible. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail are what make Lux Grand Gaube such an exceptional place, and it’s the reason we would return without hesitation. A very special thank you goes to Singh, who is an incredibly talented chef and looked after us so well throughout our stay. He created some truly outstanding dishes that we will be talking about for a long time, and his passion, creativity, and genuine care made every meal a memorable experience. We would also like to thank Taseegan, one of the Executive Chefs, whose leaderahip and dedication are clearly reflected in the exceptional quality and variety of food across the resort. He took the time to ensure we were well looked after and went out of his way to speak with us and answer all the questions we had! Between them, they helped make the dining experience one of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon. We would also like to give heartfelt thanks to Purgun, Akshay, Thierry, Freddie, and Veer. Every one of them made a lasting impression with their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile. They consistently greeted us with a smile, remembered the little details, and made us feel like valued guests. Lux Grand Gaube gave us memories that will last a lifetime, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place. We left feeling completely relaxed, thoroughly spoiled, and already planning our return. Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon everything we dreamed it would be. We cannot wait to come back!

Our stay has been exceptional through and through. We would like to highlight Chetan’s kindness and service. He has prepared the most delicious coffees I have yet to taste and has always greeted us with a smile and went out of his way to assist us. He is definitely an invaluable asset to Lux Grand Gaube.
