A special mention must go to Shehbiir from the Housekeeping team, who was nothing short of wonderful throughout our stay. Attentive, warm, and genuinely kind — Shehbiir went above and beyond in every interaction, ensuring our room 3048 was always immaculate and that we had everything we needed. It is rare to encounter someone who takes such obvious pride in their work and brings such a personal touch to it. He made us feel truly welcomed and looked after. Equally deserving of recognition is Mr Singh at the buffet dinner, whose exceptional service transformed our evening meals into a real highlight of the trip. Courteous, proactive, and always smiling, Mr Singh had an extraordinary ability to anticipate what you needed before you even asked. His professionalism and warmth added so much to the dining experience — he is a real asset to the resort.

We had a truly wonderful stay at LUX* Grand Gaube and would highly recommend it. Having visited Mauritius multiple times, I can confidently say this was by far the best resort experience we have had. It offers exceptional value for money while delivering an extremely luxurious and refined stay. The location is perfect ,peaceful, scenic, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The private beach was a standout feature, with calm, gentle waters that made it especially enjoyable and safe for our baby, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy meaningful family time. The atmosphere throughout the resort is warm, friendly, and tranquil. It caters beautifully to families, while also offering a dedicated adults-only section, ensuring couples and solo travellers can enjoy a more private and serene experience. This thoughtful balance makes it suitable for a wide range of guests. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spacious, with more than enough room to accommodate a cot without feeling crowded. Having a sea view from every room is a beautiful touch, and waking up to the ocean each morning added something truly special to the experience. What truly elevated our stay was the outstanding staff. In particular, Diren, Singh (Chef), and Jason went far beyond what was expected to ensure our comfort at every moment. Their genuine care and attention made a lasting impression. They took special effort to prepare meals tailored for our baby, who is a fussy eater, which made a huge difference to our daily experience. They also went out of their way to make my husband’s birthday incredibly special and memorable, adding thoughtful personal touches that we will never forget. We would also like to sincerely thank Sophie, Ramesh, Nawas, Faheem, Akhil, Rishi, Viskash, Abhishek, Elena, Kunal, Saleel, Sandeep, Renu, Ranjeeta, Veerju, Shabir, Tiorry, and Steeven, who all contributed to making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Overall, this was an exceptionally luxurious, warm, and memorable experience, we would gladly return.

Was there for our wedding anniversary from the 20th to the 23rd of April…. Lux GG is a level up to all the other hotels.. we were warmly welcomed … every procedure was handled with utter seriousness…. Coming to the environment and ambiance Omg it was the perfect place filled with serenity and peace…. Creole Smokehouse , Bbs burger and palm restaurant was like cherry on top😍😍😍(also mr Ashwan was the most helpful and friendly waiter at these 3 restaurants) - creole smokehouse is the place you wanna be for authentic Mauritian food We also opted for kayaking which was the best experience ever🫶 Now coming to the Lux Me- the lady at the reception was so kind that she detailed all the massages for us , the sauna and steamer were relaxing and to finish the spa session the hot jacuzzi is a no miss🫶 Lux GG really is the best escapade in the northern part of our island…

All the staff at Lux Grand Gaube provided excellent service for the 8 days that I stayed at the hotel with my family. Special mentions for Diren, Ramesh, Jason, Sandeep, Singh the Speciality chef and their team members (Vikesh, Rishi, Fredy, Akshay, Sophie, John and too many others to mention). We will only stay at the Lux - Grand Gaube on our next visit as they created Special moments for us from day 1, until our departure. Keep up the exceptional service!!

Many thanks to the staff at lux grand gaube for making my entire family feel like we were part of their family. This is our second stay at lux grand gaube and it was outstanding service as always. Every morning and night for breakfast and dinner we were catered for wirh a smile and the crew did everything to please.. Thank you to Yasser and Diren in particular for their welcome.. thank you to aartee for her lovely indian food and her beautiful naan bread..please send me that recipe.
