The hotel was very nice, very cosy. I hd a warm welcome. The front office staffs Miss Marium and Owen were very nice and helpful. The room was beyond expectations. The atmosphere was very very cosy. The food was too yummy and so many varieties! Mrs Neelam and Rukshar were very helpful at the restaurant. Five star +

We stayed 15 nights at RIU Palace Mauritius and the experience was consistently outstanding from arrival to departure. This is a well-managed, high-quality all-inclusive resort that delivers on every level. Our room was perfectly located, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with excellent daily housekeeping and thoughtful restocking. The king-size bed was superb, and linen changes were handled promptly and professionally whenever requested. Food quality was exceptional throughout the stay. The buffet restaurant offered excellent variety and freshness, and all specialty restaurants were consistently impressive — we were able to book each one twice. The Crystal Room was a clear standout and one of the best dining experiences we’ve had at an all-inclusive resort. Kaori was enjoyable, though not entirely to our taste; a minor wine-service misunderstanding on our first visit was quickly clarified on a return visit and did not affect our overall impression. Service is where RIU Palace truly excels. Every staff member — from reception to bar staff and waiters — was friendly, attentive, and genuinely service-driven. Special recognition goes to Shantanu and Manashwini at the La Rivière terrace, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made every dinner feel special. Overall, RIU Palace Mauritius offers excellent value, exceptional service, outstanding food, and immaculate accommodation. This resort sets a very high benchmark for luxury all-inclusive stays in Mauritius. Highly recommended — and we will definitely return.

We are locals and this was our second stay at RIU, and once again it exceeded all expectations. We visited in December 2025, combining our summer holidays and a birthday celebration, and what an unforgettable experience it was! From the very first moment, Gerald at reception made all the difference. As soon as we walked in, he welcomed us so warmly and genuinely — even as locals — that we were immediately impressed. His customer service is truly outstanding. He checked us in quickly, ensured everything was perfectly arranged, and made us feel pampered, relaxed, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Gerald is an absolute sweetheart and a true asset to RIU. This is exactly the level of hospitality every hotel should strive for. The entire RIU team deserves recognition. A special shoutout to the Le Morne Bar bartenders — kind, fast, agile, and always working hard with a smile on their faces. The Bar team at the swim-up pool were equally amazing, friendly, and engaging with all guests, making our 3-night stay so much fun and memorable. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very well located — comfort and cleanliness were top-notch. The food variety continues to impress us, even on our second visit. Everything was delicious, and we especially enjoyed chatting with the Chef, who was very engaging and passionate. We also had a great conversation with the General Manager, who is always present, approachable, and clearly dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly — a true sign of excellent leadership. The nightly shows are an absolute masterpiece and truly set this hotel apart. They are well-prepared, energetic, and filled with smiling, talented performers who constantly engage with guests. The team also does an amazing job with the daytime aqua games, keeping guests entertained and involved. Even though this was our second stay, the experience felt completely different — and even better. Our first visit was already very good, but this one was exceptional. We will definitely be choosing RIU again and are very much looking forward to seeing it upgraded to 5-star status in the future. After a VERY long day of travelling it was nice to see such a warm and welcoming smile from Smita at reception , got us a drink and quickly checked us in. The rooms are fairly spacious and easily slept all 3 of us , a large TV with plenty of channels (including premiership football) , well stocked and restocked fridge with soft drinks and beer a safe and plenty of storage. The bathroom was large with two basins and a great waterfall shower . Rooms were cleaned daily and i'm sorry to say I totally forgot to leave a tip for the cleaner . SORRY The hotel is quite small but never felt crowded , always somewhere to sit by the pool or the beach with lots of sunbeds . The pool bar is a nice place to sit and have a drink or get a snack from Pepes (serves burgers , fries, salad etc). The main buffet restaurant was always full of choice from curries and Asian food to pasta , salads , roast meats and fresh noodle dishes. I never heard one complaint about the food , which is very unusual ! The other restaurants were very good , especially the Asian and steakhouse. All the staff were so helpful and friendly , hard to pick out an individual because they were ALL excellent . There isn't anything around the hotel apart from a few other hotels (the Riu next door is where most of the entertainment is and you have full access to their facilities but is not adults only) , but never felt like I had cabin fever . You can walk along the beach or up to the mountain which takes about 30 minutes.
