Riu Palace Mauritius

Just came back from a 2-night stay at Riu for a pre-birthday celebration and honestly… WOW. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had there. Everything was just perfect — the staff were amazing, the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing, exactly what I needed. The all-inclusive package is 100% worth it. The food? SUPER wow. There was sooo much variety and everything tasted incredible. The entertainment was also on point — full-day activities and really fun night shows. And the bar… the cocktails were SO good 👌🏽 I also want to share a special shoutout to the Maravanne Bar. There was an Indian bartender (I don’t remember his name 😭) who was there on the nights of 18th and 19th April — he really took care of us and made our experience even better with his drinks cocktail and service. He did an amazing job! I don’t usually say this, but I will DEFINITELY be going back again. Highly recommend 🤍

I would like to thank Mr Keshav Ramma who works at Steakhouse in Riu Turquoise. We had a warm welcome and he was so kind that he made our dinner so memorable. He even did a romantic setup as we are here for our honeymoon.

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Some activity around the pool but not intrusive.Rooms a good size .Comfy bed.shower ok.Restaurants were very good ,a varity of food to pick from. staffHotel area very clean with gardeners always busy doing gardening things. We found the service to be very good,attentive staff,never had to wait too long for a drink. Beer drinkable.Cocktails quite good. Staff were always cheery and always said good morning/hallo.

Me and my partner have recently just got back from here. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning , ALL staff very friendly made you feel welcome. The only downside would be the buffet which has a lot of variety but kind of the same everyday. The Indian restaurant food was not as good as we would have expected. Steakhouse was by far the best but disappointed when we came to realise we could only book on restaurant once per stay. We would have liked to of ate there at least twice but unfortunately only once per restaurant is a bit of a kick in the teeth. Another major problem there is not enough toilets!! Having to walk all the way back to the lobby when your at other facilities is not good. Also it would have been a good idea to have toilets in each of the restaurants but unfortunately they are not any. The shop on site is really expensive , a lady noticed there were selling a clothing she recognised from Shein but I can not be sure if that is true. Go the local supermarket for souvenirs they are a lot cheaper. Beach is rough on your feet. Entertainment is not that great we would have liked to of seen more of it as it doesn’t go on for long and then music just plays. Rooms were cleaned to high standard everyday. Overall the views and staff are amazing but we would have expected more from this place considering the price. We enjoyed our stay to an extent but will not return again.

Superb location, with a private beach. The pictures of the hotel and grounds don’t do it justice, it’s much nicer in real life. No stray dogs roaming anywhere on the beach or hotel which was a must for us as I have a phobia. Entertainment every night with DJ until midnight. Really safe secure beach prom and just a swipe through a secure door to get to access the hotel next door (again all included). Great lounge singers pre dinner. Lively day entertainment too with free water sports. Amazing staff, always with a smile and even remembering your drink order. Although à la carte options were good, buffet was honestly best we have experienced in an all inclusive. Lobster / Steak etc. We also stayed in a £700 a night luxury hotel in the north as part of our trip and by far enjoyed Riu more. It is a really fun hotel not just for couple In their 30s like us but for large groups and especially families in hotel next door. There is something for everyone. The steakhouse was fully booked for our visit but only here for 5 days so hoping we will get to try next time. We loved our experience and will be back. Thank you for special memories.
