The facilities are 5* but the service is 3* Pros Beautiful long beach Great kids pool Sea shallow for children West-facing beach great for viewing sunsets Lots of activities on offer for free The musical entertainment in the evenings was top tier Large rooms with comfortable beds They let us have late check out of our room for free Service great in Buddha beach bar and Mare mare Some staff great: Irwin and Sandeep at mare mare, Alain in beach squad Cons Check in experience was not good, room wasn’t ready on time and staff member asked me why my toddler was crying (after a long flight) like there was something wrong with her Took 35 minutes for our suitcases to be delivered once we got into our room Buffet food is just okay Service can be incredibly slow at the pool/beach and the patio restaurant. Quite often I would have to walk around to find a staff member to order drinks from. If you’ve opted for all inclusive, it’s impossible to get good value from it due to the service being so slow. This is really not acceptable for a 5* resort They need to do more about people reserving loungers, so many had towels on them but nobody on them for hours

We went there for a buffet dinner and it was simply amazing. The staff, the food, the ambiance and the hotel in itself was beyond expectation. I look forward to an overnight stay to enjoy the hotel and all the facilities. One of the best hotel I went. I truly recommend this. Naomi and David at the buffet were exceptional and the Manager Mr. Parwez is truly humble and very accommodating. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful stay at what might be the most beautiful place in the world. The staff were fantastic and the rooms were clean and tidy. The food tasted amazing; we especially loved the restaurant Buddha Bar. The food there was absolutely delicious, and the service was the best in the world, provided by friendly and very helpful staff. We would especially like to thank Sirin and Francisco, who were absolutely fantastic and made this stay truly magical for us.

It’s was very beautiful atmosphere, nice place. And was very good service! Shisha was very nice, shisha master was the best! And Doshan barmen was very nice a makes for me the best cocktails!!!

I recently visited Sugar Beach Hotel in Mauritius for a SPA experience (the Glow package), and overall I had a pleasant and relaxing time, with a few areas that could be improved. My SPA therapist, Voa, was absolutely amazing. She was professional, attentive, and made the entire treatment very relaxing and enjoyable. I would also like to thank Pierre-Yves, who was very kind and helpful both before my booking and during my visit. His guidance and support really helped make the experience smooth. At the restaurant, the service was also very good. Adam and the lady who took care of my table were both attentive and friendly. The pizza I ordered was very tasty and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. However, there were a couple of disappointments. The dim sum was still cold inside and unfortunately did not taste good, which was quite disappointing. Another issue was the parking situation. When I arrived, I was told there was no available parking and was asked to park my car on the road. Unfortunately, the way this was communicated did not feel very welcoming and left me feeling uncomfortable. As a local guest, I would have appreciated a more courteous and helpful approach. Overall, the SPA treatment and the service from some of the staff members were excellent, and I truly appreciated their professionalism. With better consistency in food quality and a more welcoming approach when assisting guests with parking, the overall experience could be even better. I hope this feedback will be helpful, as the hotel has great potential to provide an excellent experience for all guests.
