Sugar Beach Mauritius

Myself and my husband spent our honeymoon at sugar beach hotel .It was absolutley amazing . On arrival we were greeted by Chesley and Nadine who made us some much needed refreshments after a long journey from the uk . Nadine is wonderful, always smiling and is a beautiful maurition woman who takes care in what she does and it shows . Unfortunately the travel agent had made an error in the booking and we didnt have the room we requested ,which was an issue as i have a problem with mobility and struggle with stairs . Chesley was very kind and reasured me that he would help and thats exactly what he did . The Manager Stephan talked to us in person and arranged for us to change rooms . We moved to a beach front ground floor room ,which was amazing .No stairs and only a few steps away from the beach . Stephane was very approachable, professional and happy to help . We could see how much he cares about his guests. The hotel grounds are immaculate and the sandy beach and crystal clear waters are straight out of a james bond movie , paradise. There was entertainment every evening our favourite being the Sega dancers and musicians . There are 3 restaurants on site All producing the most delicious food . Our favourite being the main restaurant Bruno And Vikram are the restaurant managers . Again very friendly ,always making sure we had everything we wanted and more . It was always a pleasure talking to them both . We also met the head cheif who told us that if there was anything we wanted that we couldnt see ,just to let him know but everything was delicious . We hired a car whilst in mauritius aswell as taking the local bus which was an amazing experience and something i suggest you do. The Sugar Beach Resort in the Flec en Flac area of Mauritius is a wonderful destination to just relax and enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the beach. All villas are in walking distance to the beach and the resort offers multiple activities for families. Being from Dubai, I prefer slightly cooler weather with less humidity and was told that the months of July and August would be perfect for this. Plan to come back once more with the family and have recommended this place in my social circle. A big thank you to Mr.Scyam who oversees operations at Sugar Beach. He was always available for any assistance or information needed!

We had an incredible 10-night stay at Sugar Beach. The facilities and food were excellent, and the hotel team provided warm, friendly and impeccable service throughout our stay. Any issues that came up were resolved very quickly by the team. A particular mention must go to Anuradha, the Service Excellence Manager, who was super efficient and always made sure we were enjoying our stay. If anything needed resolving, she sorted it out quickly and professionally. We would highly recommend Sugar Beach for a stay in Mauritius. The setting is beautiful, the service is excellent and the team really do go out of their way to make your stay special. Loved it! x

The food there was so delicious but i mostly liked the péne that the chef cooked

We spent our honeymoon here and it was absolute paradise! From the start, Chesley gave us a warm welcome and organized wonderful special amenities for us. The location is perfect. Stunning daily sunsets right on the beach, yet central enough to easily explore the rest of Mauritius. The rooms and resort are beautiful, very modern, aesthetic, and good maintained. The food was incredible, especially the live cooking and grilling stations. Throughout our stay, the service was truly world-class. A huge shoutout to the amazing sports and animation team, especially Atish, Andrew, Lovyn, Giumm, Jerry, and the rest of the colleagues! We had a good time playing beach volleyball. The gym is also good for a proper workout, and we absolutely loved the Yoga and Aerial Yoga classes. Thank you, Sugar Beach, for an unforgettable stay. We highly recommend it!
