We had a dream honeymoon at the Sugar Beach Hotel. The entire hotel complex is beautifully maintained and stunning. The beach and pool areas are fantastic for relaxation and unwinding. The food is outstanding and offers great variety. A particular highlight is the option to also use the facilities at the La Pirogue hotel; the service at its main bar is fantastic, and the evening entertainment—featuring live music—was more to our liking.

We have just spent another wonderful two-week family holiday at Sugar Beach, this time as long-stay guests with our 2.5-year-old daughter. Returning here felt incredibly special because two years ago Sugar Beach was the destination of our very first holiday as a family. Those memories were so unforgettable that there was simply no question about where we wanted to return. We initially stayed in room 729 before moving to room 714. This Premium Suite offered the same breathtaking sunset views that we had fallen in love with during our first stay two years ago, and watching the sun disappear into the ocean every evening was just as magical. A resort is only as good as its people, and Sugar Beach truly has exceptional staff. During our first days, our housekeeper Emrith took wonderful care of our room and made us feel completely at home. After moving rooms, Patricia continued with the same outstanding level of care. Both kept everything spotless and always greeted us with a smile. A special thank you also goes to Ittoo, whose cheerful personality and genuine kindness brightened our days every time we met. Our big appreciation goes also to Anuradha Servais, Service Excellence Executive. She is simply exceptional. Friendly, professional and incredibly attentive, she noticed everything and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. When our daughter slipped and fell, she immediately arranged for us to visit the nurse and continued checking on us afterwards. Later during our stay she kindly arranged complimentary laundry for us as long-stay guests, which was such a thoughtful gesture. To top everything off, she also organized a late check-out for us, allowing us to enjoy our final day without any stress. Thanks to her, we truly felt cared for from beginning to end. We also want to thank every member of the breakfast and dinner buffet teams. Every day we were welcomed with warm smiles, excellent service and delicious food. It is clear how hard everyone works, often for long hours, yet they continue to make every guest feel welcome. Your dedication does not go unnoticed. Same for the team of Maré Maré and the Buddha Bar. The employees at the Kids Club were incredibly kind, patient and helpful, and the nanny service (Steffy) was fantastic. It gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy some relaxing moments together. Speaking of relaxing, the adults-only pool remains one of our favourite places in the resort. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the cheerful gentlemen working there always made us smile with their friendliness and outstanding service. A big applause for the talented pianist who played so beautifully every afternoon. His passion and love for music could be felt in every performance. We also want to thank all the amazing artists who performed in the evenings. The entertainment was of a very high standard, and our daughter absolutely loved every show. To everyone at Sugar Beach whose name we may not know or didn’t mention: thank you. Every smile, every greeting, every thoughtful gesture and every act of kindness contributed to another unforgettable family holiday. You know who you are, and we are sincerely grateful. Returning after two years confirmed exactly what we had hoped: Sugar Beach is not just a beautiful resort, it feels like coming home. We left with another collection of precious family memories.

The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds, a gorgeous beach, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. A special thank you to Chef Mohammed. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and took great care to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Trip from airport to resort was effortless. The weather was sunny, atmosphere was very relaxing, rooms were very comfortable and constant room service. Overall luxurious, relaxing and serene resort. Lovely food and great staff! AI package makes the value definitely worth the money spent. I highly recommend Sugar Beach, I have no negative feedback and I am DEFINITELY coming back very soon!
