The Ravenala Attitude

Overall it was Wow experience, both as a guest and a local.The room was spacious and clean, and the staff genuinely made us feel welcomed throughout the stay. The food was outstanding, easily 11/10. A special shoutout to the standout staff who made this stay world-class: Kimberly from Reservations, for her help with the booking process. Ryan at the main desk, for his courtesy and warmth. Ashley from the 0 beach, a true gentleman who helped us choose the perfect food. Missier Moustach kishan our favorite at the beach bar for his excellent care and smile to remeber and Bhundun, the talented young man at the pool bar for his excellent local cocktails 🍸. The only hiccup was at the reservations desk for dining experience on arrival day,the staff member seemed uninterested in helping us book the dining reservation and asked us to come back later. When we returned, we were fortunate to get a different, much more attentive staff member who took the time to walk us through the restaurant options and made great recommendations. It would be great if that same level of care was consistent across the desk earlier. Would highly recommend Ravenala for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-serviced stay Kr Ghani

We’ve had a wonderful couple of weeks at The Ravenala Attitude this August as a family of four in two Suites. The resort is absolutely stunning, really well played out and has such a great vibe to it. What really makes the hotel though is the amazing staff - everyone is so incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. The suites are quite old but very comfortable, well planned and the best beds and bedding. Water pressure and temperature can be a bit hit and miss but not an issue. We had a few relatively minor issues but staff worked incredibly hard to resolve them. Our autistic son has a limited diet due to ARFID but once we raised it with Guest Experience and the Executive Chef a special meal was prepared for him every lunch and dinner. Food was generally very good - breakfast is particularly good and consistent. Lunch is a diverse buffet or there’s O beach restaurant and the food truck. Dinner we had at the buffet most nights and a few nights elsewhere. Bistrot was exceptional although it unfortunately closed half way through our stay. The online portal/website has the menus and schedules on but they aren’t always correct (allergens and activities). Restaurant booking was also overly complex - having to line up at 8am on Saturday to be able to book restaurants for the coming week rather than being able to book online. Overall we had a wonderful holiday. It’s such a great hotel with the loveliest staff and a stunning locations We would absolutely recommend and return to Attitude hotels.

Beautiful hotel set in lovely location. All very open plan with lots of bar areas or places to sit and relax. We went with Neilson and thoroughly enjoyed. From the minute we arrived the hotel staff made us feel welcome and were so lovely. Our room was great, clean and very spacious and bathroom huge too. Food in the buffet was lovely, so much to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have to book the other restaurants on the day you arrive, Madame Mings was our favourite. We went to lots of gym classes, played tennis, used the SUPs and went out on the e-bikes, all great. No complaints whatsoever, lovely hotel staff and holiday

Excellent service at O beach restaurant. Ashley,Seam, Siven and Kelly did a marvelous work in organizing the birthday day dinner of my Dad. The food and service were beyond our expectations!!!!

Starting with the good: Alexandra from Operator was very nice and a great help. F&B waitress Jeshna at dinner was very quick and efficient, food and drinks were 10/10 for both lunch and dinner. Thanks to Rajoo and one gentleman (he was not wearing a name tag ; he was great and very polite). Boathouse was very nice. Minibar shop attendant also was very nice. Suite was nice and clean. We requested higher floor and were allocated same which made us grateful and happy. Cons: A bit too much. The gentleman doing our arrival mentioned to my partner about the payment which I was supposed to be doing discreetly (it was a surprise bouquet for her) and I had previously agreed with Front Desk to settle upon arrival since there is no mobipaid link. F&B concierge informed us to book a la carte restaurants when we get our room number - we mentioned to her that we were informed to use our name since we did not get the room yet however was again informed to come to book once we get the room number. It does not make sense to wait till 14hr to make a reservation as in the meantime other guest would already take the spots, right? We waited 45 minutes for an iron. Called 3 times for same and kept waiting. The Hsk finally came but it was too late, we were already going out - we told him we will not use it anymore as we were already going out. After that we went to settle our bill at the front desk as we had to leave early in the morning - our minibar extras and dinner beverages were not posted yet and we kept waiting - 15 to 20 minutes and not even an apology for making us wait. The iron situation kept replaying in our head and we informed the receptionist to call us when the final bill is ready as we could no longer believe that the waiting time would be just a few minutes more. Moreover, we were informed that our dinner extras will be on our bill tomorrow morning instead of tonight which makes no sense. I do understand that the posting was not done from their Micros system, but this is something that a phone to the relevant department can resolve and we had to inform the receptionist to please contact the person and have them do the posting. We finally opted to leave much earlier around midnight instead of early morning as we were not sure what other delays could happen there and we simply could not take the risk. As GS, we so wanted to enjoy the hospitality of our fellow Rooms department, but this was sadly not the case. The F&B on the other side was great especially the food. It was an average experience. We will not be back, but we do recommend the food.
