Another unforgettable highlight of our stay was the incredible snorkeling just outside Turtle Bay. The crystal-clear water, the beautiful coral reefs, and the fascinating variety of colorful tropical fish made every snorkeling trip a truly magical experience. The underwater world was breathtaking and exceeded all our expectations. For anyone who loves the ocean, this is an absolute paradise. One of the most magical moments every evening was watching the breathtaking sunsets over Turtle Bay. Seeing the sun slowly disappear into the Indian Ocean while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was simply unforgettable. These sunsets created memories that our family will treasure forever. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at the Boathouse. Their excursion recommendations were absolutely fantastic, and every trip they suggested became one of the highlights of our holiday. Their local knowledge, kindness, and enthusiasm made every excursion a truly memorable experience. What impressed us most was that every single employee—regardless of their role—treated guests with genuine warmth, respect, and kindness. Everyone was incredibly helpful, always smiling, and never intrusive. It is very rare to experience such consistently outstanding hospitality throughout an entire resort. We had a wonderful stay at the Westin! From the warm welcome to the excellent service, everything was great. We stayed in room 1523, which was very spacious and comfortable A special thank you to Anas and Shivam for making our stay so memorable with their kindness and wonderful hospitality. We truly appreciate it and look forward to coming back!

We stayed here for a few nights after travelling through South Africa and spending time at the Westin before our flight home, so we had experienced some excellent hotels beforehand. Unfortunately, in comparison, this resort felt very average and didn’t live up to the standard we’d expect from a five-star property. There were definitely some positives. The staff member assigned to show us around when we arrived was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel also organised a whale-watching trip for us, which was a real highlight and very well arranged. The rooms were spacious but felt dated and in need of refurbishment. They had an old-fashioned feel that didn’t match the luxury experience we were expecting. The biggest disappointment was the service. It was consistently slow and lacked attention to detail. On one occasion we ended up clearing away our own dishes, drinks often took a long time to arrive, and although staff handed out feedback forms every evening and we raised several issues, nothing was ever followed up or addressed. The buffet breakfast and dinner were also disappointing. They felt chaotic, messy and not particularly enjoyable. If you do stay here, I’d recommend booking the smaller restaurants instead, as they offered a much better dining experience. Overall, we had a perfectly fine stay, and I can understand why some people enjoy the resort. However, compared with other five-star hotels we’ve stayed in, the overall standard felt noticeably lower. For us, it didn’t offer the level of service or quality we’d expect, and while there were some enjoyable moments, it’s not somewhere we would choose to return.

A wonderful stay in the hotel and well looked after by all members of staff. Everyone was super friendly and always happy to help! Great ambassadors to the Westin brand. Whilst everyone was very nice, particular mention to Ankush, Keshav, Manisha and Vishag.
