Veranda Pointe aux Biches

We are very Happy and Satisfied with Veranda Pointe aux Biches. From reservation to check in and check out, all went smoothly. The hotel is small, nice, cozy and comfortable. Well situated with a shuttle for your convenience. The staff is Amazing, friendly and available. The hotel as well as our room were clean. You get a kettle with tea & coffee, slippers and bathrobe in your room. The food was very good except for the Chinese buffet that wasn’t our favorite. It was a well spent Birthday staycation and we hope to stay at Veranda again soon.

Very nice place and hotel. Young guys in charge of activities (such as ludovic) are very nice also and welcoming. About activities for kids, timomo center timetable isn't so clear especially about breaks of supervisor during the timeslot.

We've just enjoyed a fantastic week here at this lovely hotel. It is perfectly situated to explore Mauritius, or just relax on the beach or by the pool. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, we were very well looked after. We booked half board and there was plenty of good food to choose from, we loved the Mauritian cooking corner. Wish we could have stayed longer and certainly hope to return to see more of the island.

It was a lovely one night stay. Great welcome with Taslimah from reception. The staff are all great, special mention to Beatrice from guest experience who is professional and mindful, the rum tasting activity was amazing with her ! The room super clean with nice decor during turndown. The buffet restaurant is nice too with a superb view. Will definitely come back !

This was the ideal place to get away from life. Staff were lovely and always helpful. A good range of food in the restaurants. The Sandy Lane restaurant was by the beach and served lovely fresh food. Quiet, with a sustainable ethos. Colourful birds flit around the hotel grounds. The location was in a quiet area. The hotel runs a courtesy bus to the popular beach area of Trou aux Biches, where boat trips and snorkelling are. The private beach has quite shallow water and sadly the corals have been trodden down. Where manmade rock areas have been created, you see angel fish, and other tropical fish, plus a few other marine animals. Local fishermen hand fish here. There is a public beach a short walk along the coast too. Easy access to popular places to visit by car. We used the local bus a lot too. Highlight - laying on the beach at night, looking up at the stars and watching the fruit bats fly overhead.
