Veranda Pointe aux Biches

We've just enjoyed a fantastic week here at this lovely hotel. It is perfectly situated to explore Mauritius, or just relax on the beach or by the pool. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, we were very well looked after. We booked half board and there was plenty of good food to choose from, we loved the Mauritian cooking corner. Wish we could have stayed longer and certainly hope to return to see more of the island.

It was a lovely one night stay. Great welcome with Taslimah from reception. The staff are all great, special mention to Beatrice from guest experience who is professional and mindful, the rum tasting activity was amazing with her ! The room super clean with nice decor during turndown. The buffet restaurant is nice too with a superb view. Will definitely come back !

This was the ideal place to get away from life. Staff were lovely and always helpful. A good range of food in the restaurants. The Sandy Lane restaurant was by the beach and served lovely fresh food. Quiet, with a sustainable ethos. Colourful birds flit around the hotel grounds. The location was in a quiet area. The hotel runs a courtesy bus to the popular beach area of Trou aux Biches, where boat trips and snorkelling are. The private beach has quite shallow water and sadly the corals have been trodden down. Where manmade rock areas have been created, you see angel fish, and other tropical fish, plus a few other marine animals. Local fishermen hand fish here. There is a public beach a short walk along the coast too. Easy access to popular places to visit by car. We used the local bus a lot too. Highlight - laying on the beach at night, looking up at the stars and watching the fruit bats fly overhead.

The first of all very helpful staff, great location everything is close- restorant, ocean, swimming pool and reception. The rooms are clean and cozy. I really liked the food, different every night and with a large selection. The hotel has a very quiet, relaxing, cozy atmosphere.

Thank you Yogen for making our stay special. You and the other staff made us feel very welcome. The service was good and we wanted for nothing. Sandy Lane village (adults only) was just what we needed for a peaceful, relaxing time. The pool, bar and restaurant were really nice. Thank you.
