Check in was 25 mins. But it was more of a miscommunication rather than the norm and was made aware of this but this issue was properly managed by the manager which made us feel seen and appreciated. We came on the all inclusive package for 2 days. Was informed that when you book 3 days onwards that you can go to the dinner at the a la carte restaurants this was in the fine print but it was an oversight on our part. This caught us off guard. But the main restaurant karay buffet changes every day and is very good so many options to choose from. Buffet breakfast and buffet dinner and a la carte lunch. All wonderful.we went to grand zil for buffet bbq book at least a day in advance tho. Pool facilitties where clean and well maintained. The two Beaches where clean and well maintained. Bars offered good cocktail but used locallly made alcohol. The rooms where good and comfortable. Highlight of my stay was the staff. Great staff very attentive to detail. And makes us feel seen and appreciated. They Organized a special gift for my wedding anniversary. The communications was not great through booking.com But In person they exceeded and delivered masterfully. Shout out to. If you want a nice tranquil resort with lots of relaxation and fun activities choose this one.

Excellent family stay, outstanding staff and atmosphere My wife and I, along with our two children (almost 3 and a baby), have just returned from a very relaxing 10 days at Zilwa Attitude. We would wholeheartedly recommend it for a family holiday. Food The food was generally excellent. The Indian à la carte restaurant was a real standout for us. It is impeccably run, with warm and attentive service, and genuinely high quality, well seasoned dishes. We enjoyed it so much that we booked it multiple times. Rishi and his amazing team at Tadka in particular did a fantastic job of looking after us throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was good, though after a longer stay a bit more variation would have been welcome. Rooms Our room was clean, spacious and perfectly suited to our needs as a family. Nitesh, who looked after our room, did a fantastic job each day. Resort layout The layout of the resort is very easy to navigate, with three distinct zones on the mainland and access to a private island for lunches and sunbathing. This felt like a real treat. Entertainment and kids club For me, the unsung heroes were the entertainment team. On our first night there was a DJ in the main bar, and it was immediately clear he knew what he was doing. My toddler loved dancing, and I appreciated the balance of crowd pleasing music with enough depth to keep it interesting. It turned out this DJ was Kevin, who manages the entertainment across the hotel, and that same level of thought and care clearly runs through the whole team. The kids club in particular was outstanding. Our toddler was initially quite apprehensive, but the team made us feel completely at ease. Special mention to Poorvi, who also became a trusted babysitter for us, along with Fatima and the rest of the warm, attentive staff. This was the first time we have ever felt comfortable leaving our child with others on holiday, which says a lot. Staff There were too many great team members to name individually, but Jonathan in the upstairs bar deserves a mention, always smiling and clearly focused on making sure guests were well looked after. Overall There are certainly more luxurious resorts on the island, but at this price point it is easy to see why this hotel is so consistently well reviewed. The atmosphere, warmth of the staff and overall experience more than make up for anything that might feel slightly more four star than five. We had a genuinely great time and would happily return.

We had a very wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment. The food has been lovely, with a buffet offering a wide variety of choices and different themes each day, which kept things exciting. A special thank you to Yash, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, for promptly resolving our issues and ensuring our comfort. Ayush and Jonathan provided excellent service throughout, and the Siro Kann Bar stood out with its great atmosphere and top-notch service. We also appreciate Nasreen for her special attention to detail and Hemant for consistently ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended for both hospitality and culinary excellence!

As a Mauritian, it was truly a pleasure to experience the exceptional hospitality at Zilwa Attitude. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was outstanding and consistently exceeded expectations. The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and well maintained, offering a perfect blend of local charm and modern comfort. Siro Kann Bar remains the true heart of the hotel. The service level there is close to a 5-star standard, with highly attentive and professional staff. It is clear why Zilwa has positioned itself so strongly in the market, especially with one of the best Beverage & Mixology Lead Manager in the industry driving excellence. Being from the hospitality field ourselves, we were genuinely impressed by the brand standards and execution. Yash has been awesome. The entertainment was equally remarkable, with engaging activities throughout the day and vibrant evening performances that truly enhanced our stay. A special thank you to the talented mixologists Satyam, Niraj, from the service Arvin, Hemant, Husna, and Vikram — for their creativity, energy, and exceptional service. Overall, an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend Zilwa Attitude to both locals and visitors.

Our first stay in Mauritius .The Zilwa was recommended by our local TUI branch. After a very long flight (12 hours) we arrived to a very warm welcome and our luggage was taken to our room. The first thing you notice is the amazing view looking out over the pools with a view of the sea. Our room had a sea view and was very comfortable with everything you needed. We thought the buffet restaurant food was just average so we used the a la carte restaurants mainly. Thai and Lor Disab were our favourites with amazing food every time. Bar service staff were friendly, especially Arvind who really looked after us every night with his cocktails and friendly chat. Pools were a nice temperature as was the sea but it wasn't clear with mud like sand. The island is worth a trip over where the sea is clearer and a nice BBQ lunch. Hire a pedalo for 30 mins (included in the AI package) Also snorkelling and glass bottom boat trips also included and booked from the boat shed. Plenty sun beds available so no need to get up early to get one. We would return one day to this hotel.
