This resort is truly a paradise — stunning views, a peaceful atmosphere, and everything beautifully maintained. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy every moment. What made our stay especially memorable was the exceptional service. Alan and Adilene were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and added something special to each day. Their warmth truly elevated our experience. My family and I felt so well cared for throughout our stay. The resort is gorgeous, but people like Alan and Adilene make it unforgettable. Big thanks to Adilene and Alan.

This is our second time at this incredible resort, and WOW… every year it just gets better and better! Our last visit was in July 2025, and now in May 2026 we are once again blown away by the amazing experience, service, and positive energy this place offers. From the moment you arrive, you immediately feel welcomed and cared for. A huge thank you to the Director, Mr. Juan Luis, who has clearly created such an incredible atmosphere over the years. His passion, leadership, and dedication to guest satisfaction can truly be felt throughout the entire resort. Every single staff member reflects that same kindness, warmth, and positive vibe from the gardeners to the front desk and management team. As soon as we arrived, our amazing butlers Isaac and Trinidad welcomed us with fresh towels and delicious margaritas thanks to Marissa at the lobby bar. The bellboys were all incredible, always smiling and ready to help. Special mention to Tigre, who has been there for more than 20 years, Filiberto taking care of the main lobby, and Denia making sure everyone was having a fantastic time. This trip was especially meaningful because we were celebrating my daughter graduating from university, and the PR team Alan, German, Adilene, and Elvira helped us arrange everything perfectly. The PR team always checking on us assuring we have the best stay .They truly made us feel special and made sure we were happy every single moment. German was amazing at both the pool and beach, always finding us the perfect spot and taking the time to chat with us like family. Ernesto, Erik, Ever, Omer, Delfina, and Clemente at the bars kept our glasses full with smiles all day long! The buffet was simply AMAZING. Breakfast was one of our favorite moments every day, especially stopping by Aurora’s omelette station. Her smile and positive energy are contagious! The fresh juice and smoothie station was fantastic, and the variety of food was unbelievable smoked salmon, fresh tuna, all kinds of fish, beef, pork… honestly, there are so many options I needed more room to eat! Huge thanks to Mr. Hugo, Wilbert, Mr. Hubiera, Damaris, Jacob, Mauricio (the BEST pizza maker!), and Juan Carlos for making every meal memorable. The snack bar was also delicious! We tried the poke bowls, chicken wings, hamburgers, and ceviche — everything was fresh and full of flavor. A special thank you to waiters Pedro and Daniel, and Chef Pedro, who even came out personally to check that everything was perfect. We celebrated my daughter at the steakhouse grill, and I can honestly say it was one of the BEST steakhouse experiences we’ve ever had. The portions are huge, and I highly recommend the New York steak cooked medium and the pastor octopus — absolutely mind-blowing and melts in your mouth! But what made the experience even more special was the incredible staff. Valeria welcomed us with her beautiful smile, Christian and Israel provided outstanding service, and restaurant manager Araceli checked every table to make sure everyone felt spoiled and happy. The level of care and quality here goes far beyond expectations. The activities were another highlight of our stay. Gonzalo and Miguel constantly invited us to participate in paddle boarding, Spanish classes, painting activities, and so much more. But the absolute MUST-DO experience is the SOUND HEALING every day at 5:00 PM with FRANCO. This experience was truly magical. The instruments, the peaceful atmosphere, and the energy completely helped me disconnect, relax deeply, and recharge. I woke up every time feeling refreshed, healed, and full of positive energy. Overall, this hotel is simply one of the best we have ever visited. The food quality, drinks, activities, and beautiful facilities are all outstanding, but what truly makes this place a jewel is the SERVICE. Every single staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, cared for, and treated like royalty. Thank you to everyone for making this family celebration unforgettable. Location was great very laid back feel and the staff could not be more helpful We had a few problems with our room ie the tv was broke no lock on the patio doors and the bed was very unstable But this was all addressed straight away My wife did the yoga and she said it was very good We couldn’t go in the sea due to the amount of seaweed but the hotel can’t control this and they tried there best to clear it but I think it was a losing battle My only big complaint was the food in the buffet restaurant the food was Luke warm at best Perhaps they should have a couple of microwaves so you could reheat the food

Recently stayed for a week at Akumsl Bay. On arrival our room was upgraded to a Penthouse which was perfect for out stay. We ate at the a la carte restaurants every evening and the food was on par with hotels like Dreams etc. The Mediterranean restraunt was our favourite for food. Drinks where of good quality and bar staff would make most cocktails you ask for. Staff where very friendly and gave great service. Entertainment was usually live music in the evening which we enjoyed. I had a great stay and would return.

Honest review It took me months to chose this hotel unfortunately the reviews seemed fake . the food was awful maybe 3/10 there were ants all over my bedroom no AC in shower or toilet area only main bedroom. The cocktails had so much syrup in it it made me feel ill . Everyone was always expecting a tip for doing bare minimum the sea weed was bad also but I knew this before booking . I have also emailed a few times to decorate my room as it was my sisters birthday but there was no acknowledgement. We had premium room and it didn’t really feel special there were no bath salts for the jacuzzi there were also ants everywhere which made my sister have many bites . The whole area including the restaurants, bars and reception was open area with no AC which meant there was no cool area and there were bugs in the food which other guests complained about . I am so very disappointed in this resort .. I will not return .
