I do not recommend this resort for families with babies or young toddlers. I don’t write reviews like this lightly, but there were multiple times we considered leaving early due to how uncomfortable our stay was. This was our second visit—we previously stayed in the adults-only section and had a great experience. Returning with our baby, we expected a similarly accommodating environment, but our stay was filled with miscommunication and unmet expectations. There is significant pressure to complete reviews on the spot. During my husband’s spa visit, he was told to leave a Google review and instructed on who to mention—even people he hadn’t interacted with. We were also repeatedly asked during dinner to leave a review before our meal was even finished. This felt unethical and explains the volume of positive reviews. The biggest issue was noise. There were weddings outside our building every night of our six-night stay, with loud music until 11 PM. Even with sound machines, our baby couldn’t sleep. We were reassured this wouldn’t be an issue in the family section, but that was not accurate. Communication about future events was inconsistent, and we were given incorrect information multiple times. We eventually had to move rooms, but the process didn’t start until 8:30 PM. We had to pack and relocate with an overtired baby well past bedtime. While the new room had issues, we accepted it just to get some quiet. Other families reported similar problems, including fireworks near rooms. Transportation was unreliable. The resort uses a third party, and despite confirming in advance, we did not receive the correct car seat on arrival—and none at all for departure, forcing me to hold my baby during the ride. The resort was not able to assist when issues came up. Baby amenities were also overpromised. We confirmed items like a bottle warmer and outlet covers in advance, but only a crib was in the room. Some items were eventually found, but it required constant follow-up. Dining is not well suited for families—there are no dinner options between 4–6 PM, and most restaurants are far from rooms. Transportation is unreliable, especially with a stroller, and we often had to leave meals early. The family pool also lacks kid-friendly features, which are located far away. We also had issues with the $300 resort credit—only $200 was honored despite prior confirmation. This was communicated during my spa visit, which disrupted what should have been a relaxing experience. The spa itself felt rushed and overly structured. Additionally, service at the pool and beach was minimal—we were only offered food or drinks once during our entire stay. Overall, the constant need to follow up and the lack of follow-through made this a stressful experience. Traveling with a baby is already challenging, and the resort did not deliver on what was promised. I do want to recognize Luis, one of our butlers, who was responsive, helpful, and took ownership of issues. He stood out among the staff.
overall it was ok. not for us bottom line. Don't like to be stuck at the same place day after day. Probably more suitable for families with small kids
We really appreciated the sports bar to broadcast the hockey games, also Brandon at the sports bar was very friendly and helpful for our daughter’s birthday. Thank you!
Partipated in the cocktail making class - amazing staff Ruben, Emiliano and Alexisis. Fun activity
The service was very mid, we came as a large group for a weeding and the hotel decided to upgrade a portion for free to another section and tried to force the balance to pay to be with them. Nobody had asked for these upgrades as well, management was rude and uncooperative. Our group was separated for the entire week as we didn’t had access to the same pool and areas. The food at the buffet wasn’t the greatest.
