This is not a 5 star resort . Not even close. The restaurant reservations system is annoying. And they’re not even that great. Route 66 is disappointing and dirty. The El Beso adults only is a joke. There is zero security in that area and numerous times there were kids in the adult pool. Also minors were being served. They constantly pressure you to upgrade and buy more services right as you arrive. There were way tooo many rules that they made up, to follow. Never going back to this hotel. Save your money and go elsewhere. Not worth it. Also, the adults only pool is in disrepair and the swim out rooms/ pool area is also gross. They really don’t keep the grounds very clean, hence all the raccoons 🦝 putting trash all over.

The seaweed was an issue at the already-small beach but there are several pools that are nice, including one on the beach. Gloria took care of us at the steakhouse restaurant, which was very good. And Ricardo provided great service at Locanda, the Italian restaurant. The buffet restaurant quality wasn't exceptional but the variety was great - we didn't get bored of it. And it room had a dehumidifier which made it very comfortable even in the summer.

This was our first time at this review and our family had a wonderful time here! Lizbeth dif a wonderful job helping us with activities. She made it so fun and it was great to watch Mexico play the World Cup! We were glad they offered family activities like bowling on site. Thank you Lizbeth and team!
