Overall, the resort was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The biggest downfall was that there were only full sized beds with nothing bigger. It was very a cramped sleeping arrangement. Resorts should have queen sized beds and larger. The food was horrible. Absolutely horrible! Everything was overcooked with no flavor. Not only at the buffet, but in the restaurants as well. I was hoping for some authentic Mexican food, but it was no where to be had. I was so disappointed. The alcohol drinks were watered down. It would be nice if there was more for the Tween age group to do at the resort itself other than the beach or swim. If you want entertainment during the day, you better be ready to pay a pretty penny to go on excursions. Those can get really expensive if you have a family of 4 or more. This is the classic example of "you get what you pay for." It is a resort that is fairly inexpensive and it shows with the food and lack of daytime entertainment.

Overall a lovely property. Everything is very clean and the rooms are well appointed. The food is average but plentiful. The drinks are free flowing and there is a huge variety including daily specials. The entertainment in the evening is fun and multicultural.

Ocean view room was amazing. Everything met my expectations except the beach. Lots of chairs and shade. Silky soft sand, great bar service. My only disappointment was the amount of seaweed, not just on the beach, even though it was raked every day, but in the water which didn’t make it very enjoyable. The beach is my #1 priority when choosing a resort so for that reason I wouldn’t return. The pools were amazing. The hotel was great overall. A special thank you to Aldo at the front desk. He was very helpful with resolving a room issue created by Trip Central Travel Agency. All staff I encountered gave great service.
