Riu Dunamar

The stay was great. The food was good. The staff was amazing! The only complaint we have is the free shuttle offered. It took an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport and then when we were departing, the shuttle for us never arrived. Destination services was of no help to us so we had to take a last minute taxi. We had confirmed the shuttle back to the airport twice before last day so I am not sure what happened but was upset nothing was offered to help fix the situation.

This is our second time at this resort and it did not disappoint both times! Everyone was always so kind and opened us with welcoming arms, especially the staff at Isla Mujeres! Will definitely be back for our 1 yr anniversary!

Great resort. Only experienced the main buffet and the Italian restaurants and they were both excellent. Beautiful beach with plenty of lounge chairs. The swim up pools with bars are a great time.

Everything was beautifully maintained, and there was always something fun happening throughout the day for both kids and adults. The beach was absolutely beautiful, the water slides were a huge hit, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. The amenities and activities kept our family entertained the entire trip. What truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A highlight of our trip was how they celebrated my son’s birthday. We returned to our room to find balloons, rose petals, and a handwritten birthday note waiting for him. It was such a thoughtful surprise and created a memory our family will never forget. Thank you to the entire Riu Dunamar team for making our vacation so memorable. If you’re looking for a clean, beautiful, family-friendly resort with exceptional service, I highly recommend Riu Dunamar. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were clean too. The food was great. One thing is that the hotel was very far from the airport.
