Riu Ventura

This resort for the money was very good. Service was very good, food was good, entertainment top of the line. Ale was a very good bartender always there with a great smile and drink in hand. My room was always clean Betrice was always happy and great keeping my room over the top. I went here because the Peninsula was being remodeled, it was a great choice. the Entertainment was really awesome. If u want a great resort this one is it. The kids were ok but I liked the adult pool best. I forget the bartenders name but he was awesome. Great resort. Thanks Doug (UT) all RIU'S ARE OVER THE TOP.

WOW!! we had an excellent time while staying at the property. We were even able to get a room upgrade and it was LOVELY. The view was breathtaking!!! We love RIU properties because of the staff attentiveness, FIRST CLASS CLEANLINESS, EXTREMELY DELICIOUS FOOD SELECTIONS, and great customer service. We're quite impressed by the housekeeping and culinary staff. We'll definitely visit the Ventura again...and again!! :-) We were joined by another couple who had not stayed at a RIU property before. So, the Ventura property was their first exposure to RIUs. And they were blown away!! My only suggestion for consideration is to be more culturally inclusive with the night time entertainment. Although we enjoy the wonderful and colorful Spanish culture, some shows with a more universal entertainer focus would be great and also afford a more inclusive cultural experience. For example shows that highlight global entertainers like ABBA, Queen, Michael Jackson, Prince, Elton John, Elvis, etc. Another suggestion is daytime activities in the lobby area that is indoor and air conditioned for those guests who may need a reprieve from the heat and water. Otherwise, 5-star experience!!! Thank you very much.

Great stay at Riu Ventura. Staff was great. Cleanliness of the resort was good. Many varieties of food choices which was great.

We loved the hotel. Everything is new on the hotel and the service is exceptional. We went on December and the beach was beautiful. Food was abundant and everything is an eye catcher. Everyone at the restaurants would do a. Extra effort to be sure you were happy. Refilling your cup of coffee, bri going an extra plate, helping with anything and everything you could need. Highly recommend this destination

Staying at the RIU Ventura was definitely worth it. The check in was smooth, my room was ready when I arrived. I went for my birthday. Very helpful and friendly. Received a welcome drink upon arrival. The food was really good. I stayed eating at the buffet. The beach was nice with a lot of sea weed of course. The pools were clean. There was entertainment. If you wanted to travel to the sister properties for their parties there’s a shuttle that’ll take you there and bring you back. It was worth it and I can see myself going back again. The only con I have is the TV there’s not much selections to choose from and the internet connection to use your electronics will definitely block you when using VPN. Gotta know how to work around it.
