Beginning of June, we had our 6th times staying at the Hideaway in Riviera Maya. Throughout out our stay, we were pampered by the staffs on various different places. Our routine, first thing in the morning, we opted to have breakfast at the Dorado. There, we, almost daily greeted by charming Señorita Itzel at the front desk, and had, on rotation, Señor Cornelio, Señor Enrique, Señor Angel and lovely Señorita Maria. This restaurant is the place where our daily Spanish class started. They're all very patiently accommodating our broken Spanish lol .. very appreciated.. Then we headed to the Hideaway pool where Señor Cesar and Jesus helped us with our loungers. For our comfort and convenience, we're looked after by efficient and charming Señorita Ana, by the pool area. At the Hideaway bar, we're looked after by familiar faces, Señor Manuel, Señor Raul and Señor Miguel. It's really nice to see them all again. At night, we tried various restaurants, my husband loves them all, for me, I love the Agave and Dorado. If you eat pork, you really should try the Mexican pork belly (my apologies, i forgot the name 😅) at The Agave. Dorado, for lunch, we loveee the grilled el pulpo or grilled octopus and at night, if you eat lamb, you should try their lamb chop. We used to love the Hunter steak house. I don't enjoy having dinner there anymore, since they changed the menu. On the record, it's only my opinion. My husband still enjoys this restaurant. Zen, was ok. We opted to seat at the sushi bar. We found this restaurant amusing. We ordered sushi and sashimi which were ok. It came out nicely presented. Taste wise, standard. We also ordered miso soup, we're pretty stunned to see the portions. It's not in the regular miso soup bowl, but it came bigger and it has noodle in it, and it came later after all the sushi came. So plan your tummy well if you order this combination. Oh, also, the sushi chef made us a heart shape sushi, so nice, cute and very thoughtful of him. One more tiny suggestion for Zen F&B manager, may be get the water boiler ready for patrons to order japanese green tea ? After all Zen is branded as an Asian restaurant? Our tea came from Marche, because they said the boiler was not ready. Our reservation was at 6pm though. After dinner, we hangout at the lobby bar, there, we had, again, friendly and efficient bartenders, Señor Louis, Señor Alberto and Señor Juan. This stay was our 6th times in your resort. For three consecutive years , we had a previous butler who's been looking after us so well, but he left the company last year. So the first time we met our butlers this time, we told them that they have a bigger shoes to fill. Señor Rodrigo and Señor Alberto were our butlers. They took the challenge and stepped up the game. They're making our stay a seamless and worry free one. They helped with daily reservations, laundry and paperwork etc. They're truly amazing. We love Hideaway at Riviera Maya so much, firstly because of the resort itself, but what we love more is the people. We love to see familiar faces, such as Señor Manuel, Señor Raul, also Señor Willy from the bellboy desk. We have known Señor Manuel since 2018, Señor Raul since 2023, Señor Willy since 2022, after covid. He helped us with our lost luggage. This time we make new friends too and we would love to see them when we're going back to your resort next year. To whomever in charge of the staffs, your people at your resort are the gems. Please kindly look after them well, because when they're happy, looked after by you, they'll be more than happy to look after us too.

Josefat at the beach bar is the best
This was the first time taking our kids to Cancun. The environment at the resort was wonderful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We did not meet one staff member that was not friendly. Everyone was helpful and always smiling. Our butlers Cesar Serrano and Marlon were the best! Always helpful, kind, and prompt. They made our stay better. Rooms were nice. Our only complaint was the food was bland but that could be a cultural thing ans the beach was awful. Sargassum was everywhere and smelled awful. We laid out there when we could stand it but never stepped in the ocean which is sad for a beach getaway to never get in the ocean but that is out of the resorts control.
Good staff at gym friendly and helpful.
