Amazing holiday the beach location is second to none with the with the second largest sea wall in the world calming the tide white sands. The hotel restaurant’s and pools are top and also the staff are brilliantly attentive. Will be happy to return again soon.

It was our second time at Secrets Alumal, this time we came for our honeymoon. This place is great. The food is amazing, the service excellent and the whole atmosphere is very relaxing. There’s also a lot of wildlife which we love. We want to point out the great work of the entertainment team and all their fun activities. Especially Ari, Anthony, Allen and Oscar. Thank you guys! The only thing that we didn’t love was the vast amount of seaweed on the beach. That’s the nature and not the hotel‘s fault though and they are working every day to clean in up.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. From the lobby to the rooms, everything is impressive. The staff are particularly wonderful and really, very helpful. The food was quite excellent for an all inclusive resort. The only downside is unfortunately the beach, but that is everywhere in this area now. We would definitely come back again to this resort.

Great food, great ambience, great overall experience. We really liked our room and the Preferred experience, given we had access to a tub on our balcony. Only complaint we really had was the sargassum, which is not in the control of the resort and they worked very hard to clean it. The staff really make this place the best! There are 3 staff that really stood out for us in terms of making our experience the best it possibly could be and I want to highlight those individuals. Firstly, Karen, our concierge, was exceptional and was very easy to reach. I was very surprised to find her one day by the beach and another day by the pool, checking in to see her how her clients were doing in the resort. This level of service was something I had never experienced before! She quickly answered any questions we had and helped us navigate some different experiences at the resort. She really went above and beyond to make our holiday the best it could be. Secondly, one of the bartenders at the beach bar, Ivan, was so amazing and he absolutely made our trip special. From the day we met him, he remembered our names and would take the time out to chat with us and get to know our story. His drinks were some of the best I've ever had - I even once brought him a drink that wasn't well made and he made me a new one, as well as followed up with his colleague. He wasn't working the last two days of our visits and we were very sad - we hope to see him again in the future! Last but not least, one of the beach/pool servers Francisco was one of the best servers we have had in all of Mexico after many visits to the country. Many of the other servers didn't take the time to chat with us and make our experience personalized - Francisco on the other hand got to know us and where we were from, on top of his service being prompt and thoughtful. He remembered our names and would come find us around the resort, checking in and seeing how we were doing. Thank you Francisco for making our holiday a very memorable one!
