Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya

My husband had our 3rd wonderful trip secrets akumal . Once again it did not disappoint. The meticulous clean up kept grounds . The jungle like alleys are just amazing and always mesmerizing . We will truly miss it ! Staff is always attentive /professional / and wonderful. Staff shout outs : market cafe - Rigoberto, Raymoundo. Beach bartenders - Anna , Besiolio , Jesus you made our trip unforgettable. See you again next time

Our experience was nothing short of spectacular, amazing, breath taking at Secrets Akumal. The food, the staff, the experience were all the best we've experienced anywhere. Life is short, visit and experience Secrets Akumal if you can :) Jose, our concierge attendant was very helpful, and went the extra mile to attend to our needs.

It was a great one really good experience

We were not prepared for the extremely high level of service and the overall quality of the facilities and beaches Secrets is an extraordinarily high level resort. Although Secrets may be part of a chain, a five star rating is well deserved. Since this was a milestone birthday, did upgrade from a 5th floor junior suite away from the beach, to an oceanfront master suite swim out (#2102). This is likely the nicest accommodations in the resort beyond the Presidential suite, with almost all day sun and a large wraparound patio attached to your own pool. Without exception, each and every employee interaction we experienced was wonderful! Above and beyond expectations! Best of the best standouts would be our concierge Leidy, the pool entertainment staff specifically Oscar and the preferred beach servers specifically Ana.

I visited the first week of March with my parents, siblings, and brother-in-law, and had the most wonderful time! This resort has something for everybody! I spent most of days doing activities with the entertainment staff!! We started with the bike tour with Alejandro and Sienai which was a highlight for the whole family! Paddling boarding with Oscar and Ari was great!! Beach Volleyball with Sienai, Didi, and Ari was so fun everyday! The pool biking with Allen and Sienai was such a great way to start my mornings! Guacamole show with Max and Sienai was hilarious!! Max added a great presence and was always cracking jokes! Pool volleyball was awesome as well! Didi was a great archery teacher, my sister and i were both able to hit the target! Jungle tour with Alejandro was really great! We also did the turtle snorkeling with Oscar and Sienai! We saw 9 turtles and a sting ray! This activity is a must!! I cannot emphasis enough how amazing the entertainment staff was!!I I can’t remember the man’s name who led the tuna carving, but he did an excellent job and was hilarious!! Also participated in the s’mores and stargazing activity with Allen which was really great! Another highlight for the family was participating in the cocktail making competition with Alejandro and Andres! It was pretty much just me and my siblings and then my parents as the judges!Food was great the whole week, the waiters are all so kind and very attentive to any food allergies! The staff really makes this place what it is! My concierge, Karina, was so wonderful!! She informed us of the daily activities and helped get everything sorted out when my brother had a slight skin reaction(we think to the bed sheets). Karina helped get us hypoallergenic sheets and his reaction cleared within 2 days! The bartenders at the beach and the pool were so pleasant and attentive! I was so impressed by how much of the staff remembered our names! The staff genuinely seem like they enjoy their jobs and are happy to be hanging out and talking with you!
